v1.11.4 BETA (May 5th, 2025)
General
- April Toons' Month is now over. Thanks for playing and see you next year!
v1.11.3 BETA (April 28th, 2025)
General
- Reverted all sound effect categorization related changes from the beginning of this year's April Toons' update.
- We will make more efforts into stabilsing the edge cases before re-enabling this feature in a future update.
The Family
- Find the Family, Standard O.F.T.F., and H.U.O.F.T.F. now have a warning indicating the content difficulty for brand new players who has not cleared the facility before.
- Standard O.F.T.F. and H.U.O.F.T.F. now use separate sigils and group types.
- Since they are now separate, the group option for "Instability" now selects length of the facility: "Short" and "Long".
- Removed the "Length" option from Find the Family in group options. (Players have no control over the length of the run given that the Cog set selected as the "family" is randomly selected each time.)
- Battle timers for both Standard O.F.T.F. and H.U.O.F.T.F. have been increased to 60 seconds.
- The descriptions for the managers' abilities in Standard O.F.T.F. no longer use haikus. Instead, they use different, more straightforward descriptions.
- New Brain Fog effect
- In H.U.O.F.T.F.
- Showing Haiku text
Bugfixes
- Fixed clipping issues with the Hallowopolis mask on several Toon species, especially foxes.
- O.F.T.F.'s innate damage down effect no longer gets cleansed by Rush Jobs.
- Loot info for High Roller and Nuclear Cogs should now properly fit on the screen.
- Fixed an incorrect answer for the trivia question "Which Cog is the tallest?".
v1.11.2 BETA (April 10th, 2025)
High Roller
- Adjusted an answer in the "Who does the Major Player fancy?" trivia question.
- Updated the "Bust" ability cutscene:
- The caption text for the cutscene has been changed so it better tells the player how the cheat works.
- The flavor dialogue has been taken out of the caption text and is now spoken by High Roller in a dialogue bubble. That dialogue bubble also has two other possible lines, chosen randomly.
- Adjusted the rewards given out in High Roller:
- Cogs in High Roller instances no longer give out EXP. (The High Roller himself continues to give out Toon EXP via Sweeteners.)
Tweaks
- Added a new volume slider for UI sounds.
- Changed the algorithm for determining sound; now it is the lower value of the SFX value or the audio category's volume.
- We realized a lot of the audio, especially those harking from the old TTO days, were poorly optimized, which caused a lot of headaches trying to make them fit into the new audio category system. We still want to keep the functionality for those who find it helpful though, so the change is a compromise. Please play around with the settings and let us know what you think!
- We're aware of volume issues surrounding some sounds still, especially those in cutscenes. Those will be fixed in a later release.
- Updated Lynn and Reid's in-game sticker appearances to be higher quality.
- Fixed placements of Evil Wings, and some Bobble Hats on several species
- Backend performance improvements.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue in High Roller where the text on the green screen was not correctly vertically center-aligned.
- Fixed a bug where a Toon's first Face the Family victory would behave as if the Toon defeated more Unstable Cogs than they actually did.
- Fixed a longstanding issue with the Toon EXP bar not showing up after defeating Taskline Managers, Kudos Managers, and High Roller.
- Minor text fixes.

Bugfixes

- Emotions and Stickers should no longer be permanently disabled after a High Roller battle.

v1.11.0 Balancing Notes
High Roller
Over time, we realized that even though the High Roller battle was marketed to appeal to all levels of players, mechanics-wise, High Roller is not actually a very new player friendly battle. From this year on, we're changing the description of the battle to better reflect our new intention of the battle.
- Approaching the High Roller Sigil with a level 19 or below Toon will now warn the player that the battle is recommended for Toons who have a grasp on the basics of Corporate Clash's battle system.
- After confirming the message, the player can proceed with the battle as normal.
- To keep High Roller experiences less volatile, the golden 6-Pip die now grants the user 100% accuracy for the entire battle.
- 2-Pip die now gives the user a 1-round damage reduction buff, with the damage reduction value chosen randomly between 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, and 25%. Using this die again in the same round will reroll the damage reduction value and does not increase the duration of the effect.
Phase 1
- Several trivia questions have been changed, others have been removed, and new questions have also been added. Overall, there are now less trivia questions about obscure knowledge.
Phase 2
- To make the Raise the Ante damage multiplier have more impact in Phase 3, some numbers adjustments were made for Phase 2 and 3.
- Phase 2 duration: 5 rounds -> 4 rounds
Phase 3
- High Roller's Phase 3 HP: 44,444 -> 77,777
- Silhouette Base HP: 9,000 -> 12,000
- Silhouette HP reduction in subsequent sets: 2,000 -> 3,000
- Minimum Silhouette HP: 3,000
- Raise the Ante damage multiplier: 10x + 0.04% defeated Mr. Hollywoods' health -> 15x + 0.12% defeated Mr. Hollywoods' health
Pip farming has been an incredibly contentious strategy for as long as High Roller has graced us with his presence. We're introducing a new mechanic to discourage the stalling aspect of the strategy, but leaving the door open for another method of amassing Pips that may be equally as easy to understand while being more engaging.
- In Phase 3 only, every round, High Roller can use a new ability called 'Bust' on Toons with over 21 Pips. This reduces their Pips to 21 and deals damage equal to 15 times the number of Pips lost. This ability happens after all players have locked in their choices.
Face The Family
At the end of last year, Face the Family was in a pretty stable balance state, so this year, our goal is simply to fine-tune it.
Last year, Zap was still a little too strong in Face the Family. A similar statement could also be made about Zap's balance state in other areas of the game, but with limited scope in mind, we're taking the approach of giving modest buffs to the base health of most managers in Face the Family instead.
- Increased the base health of most managers in H.U.O.F.T.F. by 100 (which would be around 90 in Standard O.F.T.F.).
- Chance for Cog to be Unstable: 15% in Standard O.F.T.F./25% in H.U.O.F.T.F. -> 20% in Standard O.F.T.F./30% in H.U.O.F.T.F.
- Unstable Cog health multiplier: 2x -> 1.5x
We realized Sniper was over-nerfed last year, so now he's getting some of his firepower back.
- Sniper Factory Foreman ability damage: 0.5x original attack's damage -> 0.75x original attack's damage
- Rewrote most Face the Family managers' haikus in their corresponding status effects so they are generally better at hinting at or reminding players of their abilities.
Other Balancing Notes
We've been leaving balance in permanent content alone for a while, but we're making an exception here because of how important of an impression these early taskline managers have on new players.
- Derrick Man's max health: 100 -> 175
- Refinement's overheal cap: 10% -> 25%
- Land Acquisition Architect's max health: 275 -> 350
- Public Relations Representative's health range has been increased: 575-625 -> 875-925
Loot
After some discussion, we've decided to release the rest of the manager loot drop rate information and provide tables containing probabilities per win to the official Corporate Clash wiki. They can be found here: https://corporateclash.wiki.gg/wiki/Loot
