Note: This page is for the Director of Land Acquisition, the pre-v1.3.0 Land Acquisition Architect. To view information on the Cog's current form, see Land Acquisition Architect.

The Director of Land Acquisition was a unique Boardbot that could only be fought in the Field Office behind the Toon HQ on Anchor Avenue in Barnacle Boatyard.

The Director of Land Acquisition was the Neighborhood Manager Boss of the Barnacle Boatyard Taskline and was first fought in the final task of the Playground. He could then be fought at any time afterward. He was always accompanied by three random Cogs of Levels 3-5 and additional Cogs would join the fight when the others are destroyed. A maximum of eight Cogs could be fought in the D.O.L.A. encounter, including the Director of Land Acquisition.

Cheats

DOLA Ink Drain.png

This cheat would afflict Toons with the Ink Drain debuff, reducing Gag effectiveness by 25% for 2 rounds. For example, an 80 damage Storm Cloud will deal 60 damage instead. This also affects the number of rounds a Cog is Lured for. For example, a Big Magnet will Lure the Cogs for 2 rounds instead of 3. This cheat would activate at the beginning of the round starting on Round 2 and every 4 rounds afterwards. This cheat was identified by Toons being colored gray while under the effects of Ink Drain.

Opening Cutscene

"You're on my land, Toon."
"And soon, this playground will be property of the Coal, Oil, and Gas Syndicate, Incorporated."
"So why don't we make this easy? Step on over, hand over your Gags, and we can call this a day."

The Toon gets angry.

"Tough guy are ya? Very well then."
