Director of Public Affairs

From Toontown Corporate Clash Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

The Director of Public Affairs (shortened as D.O.P.A.) is the upgraded version of the Public Relations Representative that can only be fought in the Chief Executive Officer's office in the Clubhouse in Bossbot Headquarters. The D.O.P.A. is one of the three Directors that are fought at the end of the Drowsy Dreamland taskline. He is accompanied with the Director of Land Development and Derrick Hand.

The Final Task (for now) in the game involves the Toons infiltrating a meeting between the Chairman and the Chief Executive Officer. After arriving at the meeting disguised, the Toons sees the Chief Executive Officer already giving directives for three immensely powered up Cogs to take the places of the previous three that the player had defeated during the Main Taskline.

Cheats

Overwhelming authority.png

Unites are Unite-Cooldown.pngdisabled for the rest of the battle, starting after Toons pick their Gags in the first round.

Skeletal Structure Sell.png

Due to being a SkeletalStructure.pngSkelecog, all negative effects applied to the D.O.P.A. will last for 1 less round.

Disruptive advertisement.png

This cheat will grant the D.O.P.A. the MultiLevelMarketting.png Disruptive Advertisement status effect and announce that the D.O.P.A. is about to trigger his Multi-Level Marketing cheat. Multi-Level Marketing can be prevented from triggering if a Toon hits them with a Gag in the same round that the cheat would occur. This cheat is identified by an orange tinted afterimage of the D.O.P.A. as well as the status effect flashing orange on the Gag menu. This cheat will first activate during Round 2 and will then activate again every 4 Rounds.

Multi-Level Marketing.png

If the D.O.P.A.'s Disruptive Advertisement cheat is not interrupted, this cheat will grant the D.O.P.A. the Additional-Attack.png Multi-Level Marketing status effect, which will grant him an additional attack for each activation of the cheat. These additional attacks will always be Glower Power and will cause the D.O.P.A. to unlure every round in order to use these additional attacks. This cheat is identified by a ring of knives floating around the D.O.P.A.'s head. 1 knife will be added for each additional attack that the D.O.P.A. has, with additional rings being added if the D.O.P.A. has more than 8 stacks of the cheat.

  • Prior to his hiring at COGS Inc., the D.O.P.A. worked as a radio show host for "Suitopia FM".
  • The D.O.P.A. is theoretically the strongest out of the three Directors, as his Multi-Level Marketing cheat can stack indefinitely and cannot be countered by luring him.
  • In the v1.3.0 QA session, the D.O.P.A. originally did not have any unique voice clips. They were added during one of the final play sessions before its closure.
  • According to a Blogpost, C.O.G.S. Inc. sees the D.O.P.A. as the P.R.R.'s replacement.
