Cheats
The Litigator has a Lure Resistance of 2 rounds.
The Litigator snaps his fingers and summons Cogs up to the battle's capacity. Subsequent uses of this cheat will also increase the Cog capacity up to a maximum of 6 Cogs:
- First Bayou Bash: Capacity of 4 Cogs
- Second Bayou Bash: Capacity of 5 Cogs
- Third+ Bayou Bash: Capacity of 6 Cogs
- Litigation members are included in the Cog capacity. Capacity remains unchanged even after the Litigator is defeated.
The Litigator uses Bayou Bash every 4 rounds (-1 round per 500 damage dealt to Litigator, stacking). Note that healing the Litigator does not factor into damage dealt.
If the Litigator attempts to use Bayou Bash while there are 6 Cogs already in battle, he will instead use Bayou Bellow.
The Litigator throws chompers at a Toon, dealing 30/36 damage and inflicting the Toon with Vulnerability for 2 rounds. Vulnerable Toons take 10/20% more damage while the debuff is active.
This cheat's values depend on how the cheat is triggered:
- (Squirt Trigger) - If the Litigator is soaked with a Squirt Gag, he will Snap the Toon responsible. This variant is triggered before the Cogs attack, unless the Squirt Gag unlures the Litigator, in which case the cheat is queued to happen after, but before the Litigator's other cheats in that same round.
- If multiple Toons soak the Litigator at the same time, he will Snap the Toon that used the lowest Gag level, or whoever selected first if the Gag level is the same.
- Snap does not trigger if the Litigator is still soaked from previous rounds.
This Snap will deal 36 damage and make the affected Toon take 10% more damage for 2 rounds.
- (Most Dangerous Toon) - Every 3 rounds, the Litigator will Snap the "most dangerous" Toon, being the Toon that has dealt the most damage to any of the Cogs in the last 3 rounds. This variant is triggered after all of the Cogs have a chance to attack. These conditions are factored into calculations for the most dangerous Toon:
- Knockback and Combo damage is not factored in for any Toon.
- Firing a Cog will count the Cog's HP as damage done.
- Damage dealt by Trap is attributed to the Lure user's damage pool.
- The Litigator will attack at random if there are no damage values applied or if every Toon shares the same damage value.
- If this variant of Snap is queued, the Litigator will instead target the Toon who dealt the most damage during the turn Snap activates.
This Snap will deal 30 damage and make the affected Toon take 20% more damage for 2 rounds.
The vulnerability debuff cannot stack on a single Toon. Instead, it will refresh the debuff duration. Additionally, it will replace the weaker vulnerability with its stronger counterpart (i.e., a Toon with 10% damage vulnerability will have it replaced with 20% if that version is used) but not vice-versa.
The Litigator bellows, cleansing all negative effects from Cogs. This includes Lure, Soaked, and Cease & Desists. This cheat only occurs if the Litigator cannot use Bayou Bash. This happens if he attempts to use Bash while there are 6 Cogs in battle, or if he tries to use Bash twice in a single round (via his pairing effect with Scapegoat).
The Litigator's cheats will be queued if he is Lured during the turn. A queued cheat will wait to be used on the turn the Litigator unlures in addition to any other cheats he would use on that turn. Additionally, his snap cheat works differently when queued:
- Queued Snap (Most Dangerous Toon): When queued, this cheat will only track damage dealt by each Toon during the turn the queued Snap is used. It will not track damage dealt during the turn the Litigator was Lured. This version of the cheat does not affect the normal turn cycle of the Most Dangerous Toon Snap.
This cheat will trigger once the Litigator is the last Manager standing on his side. In Desperation, the Litigator has a Lure Resistance of 1 round, and deals 40% more damage.
Manager Synergy Cheats
The Litigation Team has unique benefits where different pairing of managers can completely alter how some cheats and its bonuses function.
Litigator Synergy Cheats:
When paired with the Stenographer:
- The Litigator's Snap (Most Dangerous Toon) makes Toons take 40% more damage (increased from 20% -> 40%).
- This does not apply to the soak triggered Snap.
- The Stenographer's Court Sanction reduces Gag effectiveness by 75% (increased from 50% -> 75%).
When paired with the Case Manager:
- Cogs join the battle with
Insurance Plan which lasts 2 rounds.
When paired with the Scapegoat:
- Scapegoat's
Shields Up causes the Litigator to use Bayou Bash.
- If the Litigator attempts to use Bayou Bash twice in a round, the second usage will be replaced with Bayou Bellow.

Trivia
- A litigator is a lawyer who specializes in taking legal action against people and organizations.
- The Litigator's design is a double mashup. "Lit-" with the flame on top of his head, and "-Gator", with the animal he's based off of.
- The teeth used in the Litigator's Snap cheat are coated in a blue color as opposed to the pink color used in normal attacks like Chomp or Bite.
- His Chomp attack still uses the standard pink color.
- The fire on Litigator's head will be extinguished when soaked.
- One of the Litigator's likes is Thursdays, in reference to the "Fire Gator Thursday" meme.
- Coincidentally, the Hired Help comic also released on a Thursday.
- According to Judy in the Temperature Troubles Directive, the Litigator's flame is a very strong flame, strong enough to make the offices too hot for them to usually withstand.
- The Litigator's death animation was going to include his wig flying off as he exploded, however this idea was scrapped.
- The Litigator is the only Cog who can queue cheats even while in Desperation, although it is likely due to a bug.
- The moment in question is when the Litigator becomes Soaked and unlured. Due to being Soaked, he should be using his Snap cheat, but even if he unlures, he queues it anyway only to use it at the end of the turn.
