From Toontown Corporate Clash Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

The Litigator is a Lawbot Manager Boss who was introduced in the v1.2.0 update. He can be found in the Overclocked C.L.O. boss battle. His first appearance was in Corporate Clash's 9th comic: Hired Help.

The Litigator is a member of The Litigation Team and their leader. He specializes in making his teammates follow his commands in order to wreak havoc on the Toons.

Cheats

Lure resistance.png

The Litigator can only be lured for 2 rounds.

Bayou bash banner.png

The Litigator will snap his fingers, increasing the cap of Cogs present and filling up the battle with a row of Cogs. The first Bayou Bash will fill up the entire battle with a max of four, and the second will increase the cap to five. Any more Bashes will simply fill up to Six. The upgraded cap will remain unchanged, even if the Litigator is destroyed. He uses Bayou Bash every 4 rounds, but this decreases by 1 turn whenever he takes 500 damage. Note that the Case Manager's Insurance Plan can heal him, and so relying on HP thresholds to count Bayou Bash turns is not always possible.

Snap banner.png

The Litigator will throw a blue-colored pair of chompers at a Toon, dealing damage to them and inflicting them with Vulnerability. Vulnerable Toons will take more damage for as long as they have this status effect. The affected Toon will have the blue chompers attached to their left hand. This cheat's damage and vulnerability varies depending on how the cheat is triggered. The two triggers for Snap are as follows:

  1. If the Litigator is hit with a Squirt Gag, he will Snap the Toon that used that Gag. This variant is triggered before the Cogs have a chance to attack. It will deal 36 damage and have the Toon take 10% more damage for two Rounds. This does not apply if the Litigator is already soaked. The fire on top of his head is an indicator of whether or not he is currently Soaked as it will extinguish (aside from the standard blue hue and water droplets).
  2. Every 3 turns, the Litigator will attack the "most dangerous" Toon, which means the Toon that has dealt the most damage during this 3 turn period. When calculating the most dangerous Toon, firing a Cog will count the Cog's HP as damage done. If a Cog is lured into a Trap, the damage from the Trap will be added to the Lure user's damage pool. This variant is triggered after all of the Cogs have a chance to attack. It will deal 30 damage and make that Toon take 20% more damage for two Rounds. He will attack at random if there are no damage values applied or if every Toon shares the same damage value. If this variant of Snap is queued, the Litigator will instead target the Toon who dealt the most damage during the turn Snap activates.

Bayou bellow banner.png

The Litigator lets out a yell, and all negative effects from Cogs are removed. This includes Lure, Soaked, and Cease & Desists. This cheat only occurs if Bayou Bash is used twice in one round, or if 6 Cogs are already in battle and he tries to summon more.

Desperation banner.png

This cheat will trigger once the Litigator is the last Manager standing on his side. It will increase the Litigator's Lure Resistance by 1 round, and give him a 40% damage buff.

Manager Synergy Cheats

The Litigation Team has unique benefits where different pairing of managers can completely alter how some cheats and its bonuses function.

Litigator Synergy Cheats:

When paired with the Stenographer:

  • The Stenographer's Court Sanction cheat reduces Gag effectiveness by 75% from its normal 50% damage reduction.
  • The Litigator's Snap cheat has its Vulnerability damage boost doubled (40% total). This does not apply to the Snap cheat that occurs when he is soaked.

When paired with the Case Manager:

  • Any Cogs that join the battle will instantly be hooked on the Case Manager's Insurance Plan for two rounds.

When paired with the Scapegoat:

  • Once the Scapegoat puts his Shields Up, the Litigator will use a Bayou Bash. This can stack with his regular Bayou Bash cheat, which forces a Bayou Bellow cheat.

Trivia

  • A litigator is a lawyer who specializes in taking legal action against people and organizations.
  • The Litigator's design is a double mashup. "Lit-" with the flame on top of his head, and "-Gator", with the animal he's based off of.
  • The teeth used in the Litigator's Snap cheat are coated in a blue color as opposed to the pink color used in normal attacks like Chomp or Bite.
    • His Chomp attack still uses the standard pink color.
  • One of the Litigator's likes is Thursdays, in reference to the "Fire Gator Thursday" meme.
    • Coincidentally, the Hired Help comic also released on a Thursday.
  • According to Judy in the Temperature Troubles Directive, the Litigator's flame is a very strong flame, strong enough to make the offices too hot for them to usually withstand.
  • The Litigator's death animation was going to include his wig flying off as he exploded, however this idea was scrapped.
  • The Litigator is the only Cog who can queue cheats even while in Desperation, although it is likely due to a bug.
    • The moment in question is when the Litigator becomes Soaked and unlured. Due to being Soaked, he should be using his Snap cheat, but even if he unlures, he queues it anyway only to use it at the end of the turn.
