Ned Slinger
Ned Slinger is an NPC Toon who takes up residence in The Flying Pie located on Punchline Place in Toontown Central.
Appearance
Ned Slinger is a tan horse who wears the Fruit Pie Hat, the Hang Glider, an orange Plain shirt, and coral Shorts with Belt.

Toontown Central - Ned Slinger appears in the Easy As Pie In The Sky Kudos Board Rank-Up Task. His dialogue during this task is as follows:
"METAPHORS!"
"You know of metaphors right?"
"Happy as a clam, light of my life."
"I mean pigs flying already exists! So it it really a metaphor?"
"EXACTLY! That's why the phrase "Let the pies fly!" will become a reality!"
"I need something to make it happen and I know just the Toon."
"Rick! His kites will prove a great aid to my experiment."
"Quick! Tell him that I require his assistance!"
After returning from Rick Rockhead
"EXCELLENT! You have it!"
"Now let's see how-"
"Oh."
"This is just a pan shaped as a kite."
"Hm, okay, this is fine."
"Well, that was the only plan I had. Uh..."
"Why don't you go defeat some Cogs outside while I think for a bit."
After defeating some Cogs
"I GOT IT!"
"While you were out there, I took the 'kite' out for a spin; and my plan was going perfectly!"
"There's just one teensy problem..."
"All those Cogs flying through the air kept hitting the kite, that pie couldn't fly!"
"Quick! Go! Defeat more of those Cogs in the surrounding area!"
"We need to clear the skies for those pies to fly!"
After defeating some more Cogs
"HA-HA! Yes, this is exactly what I imagined!"
"These clear skies are perfect for making those pies really fly!"
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
"I'll put a good word in for you with the other shopkeepers around the neighborhood, your deeds deserve a permanent discount!"
Trivia
- Ned Slinger used to be obtainable as an SOS Card by fighting the V.P. until the v1.0.9.9 update where he was replaced with Cleff as the 3-star Throw SOS card.
- If used prior to the v1.2.0 update, Ned Slinger would attack cogs with a Whole Cream Pie that would split up into Cream Pie Slices when thrown at multiple cogs. This attack would deal 75 damage to every cog hit.
- If used prior to the v1.3.0 update, Ned Slinger would boost the power of all Throw Gags by 10% for the next 3 turns when called.
- It is currently unknown if any Ned Slingers held prior to v1.3.0 can still be used or if they were rerolled into other IOUs with the update.
