Toontasks are different objectives for the player to do that offer large chunks of Toon Experience to quickly level up. In addition, all Neighborhoods offer sidetasks that can be done to earn extra Toon Experience towards their Toon Level as well as special rewards like Clothing, Nametags, Cheesy Effects, Teleport Access and more!

Toons can hold up to 4 ToonTasks at once and will be labelled in that order. However, Daily Tasks and Club Tasks will not count towards this Task limit as they have their own section. When viewing the Minimap while on Streets the building related to the Task will display the number it has in your Tasks slots. Some ToonTasks will have multiple requirements, or steps, to be completed. Tasks will have their information listed in order of Title, Icon, Objective, Location, and Progress if it applies. Once completed, a ToonTask's scroll will turn green and can then be turned in to the designated location.

Toons can view what Tasks they have by either holding down the Tasks hotkey (E/End key by default) or by opening their Shtickerbook and locating the page with the TasksIcon.png icon. Toons can also view the Toon Tip History on this page by clicking the ExclamationPointButton.png exclamation point button on the top right of the page. Here, they can review any useful Toon Tips they may have missed.

Main Taskline

Task A Hairy Introduction.png

Toontown: Corporate Clash has a Main Taskline which are a series of Tasks that serve as the main form of progression for the game. Mainline Tasks will be accessible from the player's Toontasks list at all times until they've completed the Taskline. Mainline Tasks can be identified by their golden-brown scroll color. Hovering over the magnifying glass will reveal the reveal the rewards given for completing each step of the task, how many steps remain in the task, and the total rewards for completing the whole task.

The Main Taskline will have Toons progress through the main 8 Playgrounds, being Toontown Central, Barnacle Boatyard, Ye Olde Toontowne, Daffodil Gardens, Mezzo Melodyland, The Brrrgh, Acorn Acres, and Drowsy Dreamland in that order. Each Playground will have a form of "Bossfight" at the end of their taskline that Toons must overcome to progress. These bossfights come in the form of the Taskline Managers and Cog Department Bosses.

Mainline & Sidetasks List

Sidetasks

Sidetasks are optional Tasks that can be accessed by speaking to various NPC Toons. They will appear as yellow icons while viewing the Minimap while on Streets. Each Playground has 6 sidetasks which can only be accessed once you've reached that Playground in the Main Taskline. These Tasks reward Toons with a multitude of rewards such as Teleportation Access to that specific Playground, Outfits, Nametags or Cheesy Effects. Toons can find a list of sidetasks accessible to them as well as where to get them by opening their Shtickerbook and going to the "Sidetasks" tab on the Toontasks page.

Sidetasks that have been completed will appear in green, Sidetasks that are currently being worked on will appear in yellow, and Sidetasks that have been completed will appear in red. Clicking on the name of the Sidetask will reveal the additional details of the task.

Sidetasks can be deleted at any time by using the trashcan icon located at the bottom right of the task. It will ask for confirmation before deleting the task and will reset any progress if the Task is picked up again.

Daily Tasks

DailyTasksPage.png

Daily Tasks are tasks that are given out daily. Only one task will be given per day with a maximum of 3 that can be held at a time. Completing a task will award 150 Gumballs, which can be used at the G.U.M.B.A.L.L. Machine to purchase cosmetics and Boosters. These tasks can be viewed under the Toontasks page of the Shtickerbook under the tab "Daily Tasks". This page also shows the total number of Daily Tasks completed, any active Boosters, the total amount of Gumballs you own, and any rerolls you may have. Daily Tasks do not become available until the first daily reset after a Toon has been created.

Unlike Sidetasks and Mainline Tasks, Daily Task goals do not require NPC interactions and will never have more than 1 step or requirement. These Tasks scale based on the Toon's level and progression. Toons starting the game will be given simpler Tasks such as taking down a few Cogs, getting some Gag experience, or collecting 3 treasures in the Playground. As you progress, Tasks will change into more difficult Tasks such as clearing Cog Buildings, Cog Facilities, and Cog Bosses.

Toons will also be given 2 rerolls per day if they wish to reroll any undesirable Daily Tasks. Rerolling a Task will replace it with another random Task. This Task cannot be the same one that was previously listed. Rerolls and empty Daily Task slots will be refilled at 12 AM Toontown Time.

Kudos Tasks

Kudos Tasks can only be accessed via the Kudos Board. Each Playground has its own Kudos Board with its own Kudos Rank that will be unlocked once that Playground has been completed in the Main Taskline. Completing a Kudos Task will give experience towards a player's Kudos Rank, as well as Jellybeans and Toon Experience similar to basic Tasks. Kudos Tasks can have a significantly wide variety of objectives required to complete them including defeating Cogs, performing certain actions in Cog Boss fights, earning Gag XP, participating in certain Activities, playing Picnic Games, and much more.

Kudos Tasks come in 3 tiers:
Kudos Bronze.png Bronze Kudos Tasks: rewards 1 Kudos XP
Kudos Silver.png Silver Kudos Tasks: rewards 2 Kudos XP
Kudos Gold.png Gold Kudos Tasks: rewards 3 Kudos XP
Kudos Tasks will typically range in difficulty and give more Jellybeans and Toon Experience depending on the tier and Playground of the Task, with higher tier Tasks and later Playgrounds providing greater difficulty. Like Daily Tasks, these Kudos Board Tasks will only have one requirement or step per Task. These tasks will appear with their designated ribbon while in your Tasks slots.

Rank-Up Tasks

Once a Toon has reached enough Kudos XP, they'll need to speak with one of the NPC Toons in that Playground's Toon HQ. Additional Kudos Tasks for that Playground cannot be picked up until the Rank-Up Task is completed. These Tasks have a multi-step process required to complete them. Every Playground's fourth Rank-Up (Rank 4 → 5) task will require Toons to defeat their respective Street Manager and the ninth Rank-Up Task (Rank 9 → 10) will require them to defeat that Playground's Kudos Manager. Deleting a Rank-Up task will require the Task to be completely redone.

Club Tasks

ClubTaskExample.png

Club Tasks are Tasks that can only be accessed by being in a Club. A Club will have 3 tasks available to them at all times, which can be completed by any and all members of a Club. Members who complete Tasks together will each get individual credit for completing the Task, this can make it quick and easy to complete tougher Tasks. Completing a Club Task rewards the Club with Club experience and Club Coins. All Club Tasks can be rerolled by going to the Tasks page of the Club Panel, clicking the blue dice on the bottom right of the Task, and paying a Jellybean fee. Each Club Task will only have one objective, with there being a wide variety it can choose from.

Special Event Tasks

SpecialEventTask.png

Special Event Tasks are only accessible for a limited time. Typically, these tasks are part of a Holiday celebration. These tasks reward Toons with items like Clothing, Cheesy Effects, or customization options for their Toon Profile.

Directives

Directives are "Cog Tasks" handed out in order to promote your Executive Disguise to the next level. Directives are currently exclusive to the Lawbot Department, and can be accessed by talking to Judy in the Lawbot Headquarters Administration Foyer. You'll need to reach the Tier 8 Cog for your Cog Disguise to gain access to Directives.
