Overclocked Bosses
Overclocked Bosses are new, difficult variants of the four current C.O.G.S. bosses.
The Executive Suits, featuring the Specialist Cogs (Field Specialists and Operations Analysts), are used to progress through the Overclocked Bosses. You may begin doing Overclocked Bosses once you have been promoted to a tier 8 Suit of the respective department. However, you must also have a Level 50 Cog Disguise and complete the Overclocked Boss at least once to progress to an Executive Suit. At that point, Merits are no longer a necessity in order to fight the boss, allowing Toons to play as many regular or Overclocked Bosses as they desire.
Unlike most bosses, Toons cannot promote from the final level of a tier to the next tier by completing another Overclocked Boss. They must complete Directives to progress to the next Suit tier. One will pop up once Toons reach tier 8 of the department they desire, then the final level of whatever tier they are currently on.
Special rewards can be earned after completing these tasks, such as profile decorations and Laff boosts. The final Directive will allow Toons to change their department's Suit into whatever they desire in Executive form. This excludes any Managers and Contractors.
Current Overclocked Bosses
Overclocked Chief Legal Officer
The Overclocked Chief Legal Officer is the first Overclocked Boss to be released. After completing the Brrrgh Taskline and reaching the Lawbot Cog Disguise tier 8 Suit, the Big Wig, Toons can talk to Judy inside Lawbot Headquarters. Judy will give the Toon the Executive Lobby Key, allowing access to the door to the right side of the CLO's lobby. Progress towards the Executive Suit will not begin until the Toon has maxed their Lawbot Disguise by becoming a Level 50 Big Wig and speaking to Judy to receive their first Directive. Defeating the O.C.L.O. before maxing your Suit will give an additional 50% Merit carryover (100% with Department Level 20).
