Magnates are the seventh Cog on the Boardbot Corporate Ladder. They are Tier 7 Cogs ranging from levels 7-15. Magnates are eagle-eyed predators with a taste for organizational opulence. Like other tier 7 Cogs, Magnates cannot be found on Streets normally. However, they can be found specifically on Twilight Terrace in Drowsy Dreamland with a lowered spawn rate. They also have a very rare chance to spawn in other departments' Cog Headquarters.

• Adjusted the Magnate model to fix several animation errors.

• An all-new Boardbot Cog Line-up has arrived!
  • Magnates have received a new head model and design.
  • Magnate is promoted to Tier 7 from Tier 6.
    • This makes their level range increase from 12->15.

• A magnate is a wealthy and influential person in the world of business.
• The Magnate's new design was the sixth Boardbot Cog revealed as part of The Director's Cuts ARG.
• The Magnate is the first Cog to have its position changed on the corporate ladder, being promoted from a Tier 6 Cog to a Tier 7 Cog.
• The Magnate's design is loosely based off of real life Magpies, hence the pun of "Mag" in its name.
