Circuit Breakers are the fourth Cogs on the Boardbot Corporate Ladder. They are Tier 4 Cogs ranging from levels 4-8. Knowing when to pull back is an essential part of negotiation, and Circuit Breakers are always keeping an eye out to make sure there's no shady dealings going on, pulling the plug if they recognize there might be cause for concern.

• A circuit breaker is a rule that temporarily stops trade on a stock market or closes it when prices go down to a particular level too quickly.
• Circuit Breakers were the second Boardbot Cog revealed as part of The Director's Cuts ARG.
• Circuit Breakers have a login for the cogs.ink website.
  • The username is circuitbreaker and the password is !!3L3CTR1FY1NG!!.
• According to the C.O.O., Circuit Breakers are part of the crisis management team and likes to discuss investigation efforts.
• Circuit Breakers were originally planned to be the Tier 3 Boardbot Specialist, but was changed to a standard employee when the decision to focus on the main eight was made.
  • This Cog was originally named as the Shock Absorber, and traces of this name exists in its head's model file, labeled as "shockabsorber".
    • A shock absorber functions similarly to a circuit breaker in terms of stopping trade, but is usually market specific and more strict.
