The Treekiller featured in an official Twitter comic
The Treekiller is a Cashbot Manager Boss who was introduced as part of the Hires & Heroes Update. He can be found roaming the streets of Acorn Acres. He was first revealed during the cogs.ink ARG.
Toons fighting against the Treekiller will have Content Sync applied to them. They will be synced down to the following stats:

The Treekiller can only be Lured for 1 round.
At the beginning of odd numbered rounds, the Treekiller will roll a giant tree log and crush both other Cogs and Toons for 7 damage. For the rest of the round, all Toons in the fight get the Peeled Status Effect for 1 round, which makes them take 75% more damage from the Cogs. Cogs that get Peeled will have all negative Status Effects removed from them at the end of the turn and will unlure to attack once their turn comes around. Toons with the Peeled Status Effect will be turned into a tan color until the end of the round.
At the beginning of even numbered rounds, the Treekiller will throw some form of splintery wood at one Toon, giving them the Woodchipped Status Effect. A Woodchipped Toon will take 12 damage each round for 2 rounds. Peel the Bark will make the second round deal 21 damage, unless that cheat has not been activated due to the Treekiller's destruction in the same turn. This damage over time will persist even after all of the Cogs are defeated (before the victory screen).

![]() Toon-Up |
As always, good for keeping the team alive, especially if not opting to use Unites and/or Prestige Throw. The Treekiller can deal a lot of damage in a single turn due to his Peeling the Bark cheat, as it causes them to take 75% more damage.

The extra self-heal provided by Prestige Toon-Up will see little to no beneficial use, but the extra round of Cheer it provides can help ensure single target damage combos used on the Treekiller will land more often. ![]() ![]() ![]() Rating: 1/3 Stars |

![]() Trap |
While usable, very skippable in this fight. Setting it up for use on the Treekiller results in less overall damage than other options over the course of the fight.![]() ![]() ![]() Rating: 1/3 Stars |
You likely will not have room to use Trap more than once if at all in this fight, giving the Prestige little room to make an impact.

![]() Lure |
Pairs very well with Throw, as you can use a $50 Dollar Bill and 3 Throw Gags to deal a massive burst of damage on the Treekiller.
![]() ![]() ![]() Rating: 3/3 Stars |
Gives a decent boost to Lure + Throw combos.

![]() Throw |
One of your main damage dealers in this fight when paired with Lure, capable of outputting a lot of damage. Also combos well with Drop due to its ability to apply the Marked debuff.
![]() ![]() ![]() Rating: 3/3 Stars |
Generally highly valuable in manager battles as the self-healing allows your team to maintain momentum against the managers. Here, with some luck it is capable of negating the need for Toon-Up, as the self-heal from a Wedding Cake can be enough to recover a majority of damage from a Peeling the Bark turn. The battle itself is short enough that the Treekiller's damage may not be able to keep up.

![]() Squirt |
Good for its Soaked debuff, allowing Zap to hit, and decreasing the Treekiller's defense to the benefit of both Lure and Drop.
![]() ![]() ![]() Rating: 3/3 Stars |
Prestige Squirt's extra Splash damage will see little to no use in this fight.

1-2 Toons
|
![]() Zap |
Can be used if Throw and Drop Gags have been exhausted due to a lot of misses, but is otherwise not very useful in this fight because it lacks combo damage. Using Sound instead to clear the Cogs has the advantage of also giving Encore.
![]() ![]() ![]() Rating: 1/3 Stars |
Prestige Zap's extra jump damage will not be utilized, as it's recommended to keep the Treekiller alone in turns where you attack him.

![]() Sound |
Extremely good in this fight. It can quickly clear the side Cogs, which on Peeling the Bark turns is necessary to avoid taking more damage.
![]() ![]() ![]() Rating: 3/3 Stars |
Not completely necessary for Sound to be useful in this fight, but the increased Encore can greatly boost damage on any turns dedicated to directly attacking the Treekiller. Sound is typically used at least twice in this fight, so this Prestige will get good mileage.

3-4 Toons |
![]() Drop |
Similar to Throw, Drop is going to be one of your main damage dealers in this fight.
![]() ![]() ![]() Rating: 3/3 Stars |
While you probably won't get the full value out of the Prestige in this fight due to how it typically plays out, it is still very good to have.

While the Treekiller fight is capable of causing a lot of damage to your team, it is very straightforward. It always starts with Peeling the Bark and alternates with Woodchipper.
