Toon-Up

Toon-Up is the first Gag used by Toons in a battle. This Gag is a Support Gag meaning it does not cause any damage to Cogs. Instead, this Gag heals other Toons in battle, as well as the Toon that uses it, although only 25% of the Laff healed.

Toon-Up Gags alternate between single and group Toon-Up as the player unlocks higher Gags in the Gag Track. Single Toon-Up Gags require the player to select one Toon to heal, while multiple Toon-Up Gags only require selecting the Gag and will heal all Toons in battle. As the player unlocks more Gags in the Gag Track, the amount of Laff that is healed increases. Gag Experience will only be earned if the Toon-Up Gag heals a Toon (this includes the user).

Toon-Up Gags also increase the Accuracy of any Gag used after it via the Cheer effect, which grants a 10% bonus to accuracy. The amount of Laff a Toon-Up Gag will grant to other Toons is shown in green letters above a player's icon in battle, and self-heal amounts can be shown by hovering over the Gag icon when selected.

Prestige Effect

After unlocking Toon-Up, the player can allot one Training Point to their Toon-Up track to Prestige it. Prestiging the Toon-Up Gag Track increases the self heal amount to 40% of the Toon-Up Gag you used as well as an extra turn of cheer.

Advantages of Toon-Up

• It heals Toons, making it easier to survive battles against the Cogs.
• Toon-Up gains twice as much experience as other Gags, a unique multiplier applied to the base experience (e.g., x7 xp = x14 xp for TU)
• Group Toon-Ups can heal all other Toons in battle at once.
• Toon-up has perfect accuracy, so it always heals Toons for it's full value.
• Toon-up also heals the user by 25%, or 40% if it's Prestige.
• Toon-up will provide a Cheer effect to all hit by Toon-Up, giving them a 10% accuracy buff for 1 round, 2 rounds if it's Prestige.

Disadvantages of Toon-Up

While Toon-up technically has no disadvantages as it has an entirely different function (healing Toons), there are some things to consider when using this Gag:

• Group Toon-Ups are weaker when in battle with three or four Toons, including yourself. This is due to the group Toon-Ups dividing evenly among Toons (even if other Toons are at full or near full Laff).
• Toons cannot use Toon-Up to heal themselves when battling alone.
• Without Prestige Toon-Up, Cheer only effects the round the Toon-Up Gag was used, meaning to continue to have this buff a Toon-Up Gag must be used every turn.
• Unlike other Gag tracks, multiple Toon-Ups do not stun or Cheer multiple times; the buff is only applied once.
