The Chainsaw Consultant is a Bossbot Manager Boss who was introduced as part of the Hires & Heroes Update. He can be fought in "Cut to the Chase! Logging Co." on Walnut Way in Acorn Acres after unlocking the Kudos Task I Saw What I Chain-Saw. He was first introduced in the Inside Your Department: Chip Revvington and the Deforester Force Blog Post on the Corporate Clash website that detailed into an ARG.

Cog capacity.png

This battle allows up to a maximum of five Cogs at once. These Cogs will continuously spawn to this cap at the end of every round. They are always Bossbots, ranging from levels 10-15. The Executive Chance is 25%.

Lure resistance.png

The Chainsaw Consultant can only be lured for 1 round.

Rpm meter banner.png

This meter is present at the beginning of the battle, starting at 10,000 RPM. Certain cheats will become usable if the RPM meter is high enough. However, the RPM meter will also decrease when most cheats are used. There will be a one-time reset in the transition to Phase 2 that will cause the RPM meter to revert back to its 10,000 base. The priority of cheats triggering is from highest RPM meter requirement to lowest, or more simply put, top to bottom of the meter, assuming the triggers for those cheats are met. This means if the RPM is high enough to allow Cut the Slack and Offboarding to trigger, and triggers for both cheats are met, Cut the Slack will always trigger over Offboarding.

  • Damage Increase - Exclusive to Phase 1 and 3, the Chainsaw Consultant's damage will be boosted equivalent to the amount of RPM he has. 1.0x at 10,000 RPM, 1.5x at 15,000 RPM, 2.0x at 20,000 RPM, etc.
  • Damage Resist/Vulnerability - Exclusive to Phase 2. RPM lower than 15,000 will cause him to take less damage, from -10% to -50%. RPM higher than 15,000 will cause him to take more damage, from 10% to 50%.

Rev Up Those Banners.png

The Chainsaw Consultant’s RPM meter will increase by varying amounts when certain conditions are met. Assuming any are met, Rev Up occurs at the end of every round. All RPM gains are doubled in Phase 3.

  • +1,000 RPM for every Gag that hits the Chainsaw Consultant.
  • +1,000 RPM whenever all Cogs present are defeated (with the exception of turn 1)
  • +2,000 bonus RPM whenever the Chainsaw Consultant doesn't use a cheat during a turn (including turn 1). This bonus RPM is referred to as Whipsaw. The Chainsaw Consultant cannot gain Whipsaw two turns in a row. Whipsaw will only apply in phases 1 and 3 and will be replaced with Spark Plug (see below) in phase 2.

Kick back Banner.png

Obtained from either defeating a Level 20 or higher Executive Cog created by Cut The Slack or by defeating all four Cogs linked to the Chainsaw Consultant after Chain Link is triggered. This debuff will increase the amount of damage that the Chainsaw Consultant takes by a varying amount. When triggered by defeating an Executive Cog, the debuff's value will depend on the level of the Cog defeated (+10% damage taken for Level 20 Cogs, +2% per level up to 30% for Level 30 Cogs). When triggered by Chain Link, this debuff's value will be 30% if the linked Cogs are destroyed by Gags and will lessen if the linked Cogs are Fired (by 5% per Fired Cog). This debuff disables the usage of Chain Link and Spark Plug for its duration, unless Chainsaw Consultant goes above 16,000 RPM in which case Spark Plug can still trigger (see Scabbard below).

Phase Specific

The Chainsaw Consultant has 3 phases to his fight, each active during a certain HP threshold. Phase 1 begins at the start of the fight, Phase 2 begins at 8,500 HP, and Phase 3 begins at 4,750 HP. Each phase has its own set of cheats that will be used for the duration of the phase.

ChainsawPhase1Banner.png
Cheat Effect RPM Triggers
Deadwood
The Chainsaw Consultant loads all available Toons in cannons and REMOVES THEM FROM THE BATTLE. They cannot go back into the fight without starting a new one. Once fired, each Toon will be sent back to the foot of the Chainsaw Consultant’s office bearing their current Gags intact and leaving them at 1 Laff.
N/A
- RPM Meter reaches 20,000 or higher.
Offboarding
The Chainsaw Consultant will fire the highest level Cog present (firing the rightmost highest level one if there is a tie, regardless of its current health), aiming at a Toon, and dealing damage to them based on the Cog’s level and current health.
  • The specific equation for determining the damage of a Cog fired from Offboarding is (CogLevel * 3 * (CurrentHp/MaxHp)).
    • Revved-Up does not affect this damage value, but damage amplification status effects such as Vulnerable and Marked Wood do.
  • The Toon selected for this cheat is randomly decided unless this cheat is triggered through using a Pink Slip. If a Pink Slip is used, it will always target the Toon who used it, even if multiple Offboarding triggers are met.

Requires: 12,000 RPM

Costs: 2,000 RPM

- If the Cogs survive an AOE attack that hits them (Squirt, Zap, Sound)

- If 2 Cogs promoted by Cut the Slack are present, one will be Offboarded at the next opportunity.

- If a Cog is Fired.

- If the Chainsaw Consultant is not attacked within 2 turns, unless a cheat with higher priority is triggered.

Cut the Slack
The Chainsaw Consultant will sacrifice all of the lowest level Cogs and promote the current highest level Cog to an even higher leveled Executive Cog, then give that Cog 1-round Lure Resistance and immunity to Sues and Fires. This can break the Cog’s traditional leveling formula if it’s a Cog under a Big Cheese. The more Cogs sacrificed, the higher this level can be, with a cap of Level 30.
  • The level of the promoted Cog is calculated by the adding half of the total levels of the lesser Cogs to the highest Cog (rounded up). For example, if the fodders are Level 6, Level 9, and Level 10, the Level 10 becomes a Level 18.exe.
  • If only 1 Cog is alive, Cut the Slack can promote it by 3 levels. However, if it cannot be promoted any further, Cut the Slack won't trigger.
  • Defeating a Cog Level 20 or higher created by this cheat will cause the Chainsaw Consultant to gain Kick Back. Depending on the level of the Cog, Kick Back can range from 10% - 30%.
  • If a Cog promoted by Cut the Slack is still alive after 4 turns, the Chainsaw Consultant will Offboard them, using the Offboarding damage formula.

Requires: 14,000 RPM

Costs: 3,000 RPM

- 0, 2, or 3 Cogs are defeated.

- A Cog is Sued (the Sued Cog will be Promoted).

Marked Wood
The Chainsaw Consultant throws a log of wood at the most dangerous Toon (the Toon with the highest Laff at the beginning of the round, selecting whomever attacked him first that turn if there is a tie). The Toon hit by this cheat will be brought down to 33% of their max Laff (minimum 40 damage). Once hit, a debuff will be applied that will make the Chainsaw Consultant deal 75% more damage to them. During the following round, the Chainsaw Consultant will attack whichever Toon was the last one to hit him. If no Toon attacked him, he will attack the Toon that was Marked.
  • Lure alone does not count as an attack towards the Chainsaw Consultant when triggering Marked Wood (it can still count for RPM).
  • If a Trap Gag is the last Gag to hit the Chainsaw Consultant during this following round, the Chainsaw Consultant will target whoever lured him.
  • If an IOU is used to trigger Marked Wood, the Chainsaw Consultant will target the Toon who used the IOU. If multiple are used, he will target the Toon with the highest Laff.
  • If multiple Toons use the same level of Gag as the last attack on the turn after Marked Wood, the Chainsaw Consultant will attack the Toon whose attack struck him last. For example, if three Piano Gags hit the Chainsaw Consultant on the turn after Marked Wood, and one of these three Toons has the Marked Wood debuff, you want to make sure that the Toon who has the debuff uses the Gag earlier than the other two.

Requires: 17,000 RPM

Costs: 7,000 RPM

- All Toons attack the Chainsaw Consultant.

- Only one Toon attacks the Chainsaw Consultant.

- An IOU is used.

ChainbawPhase2Banner.gif
Cheat Effect RPM Triggers
Throttle
At the beginning of Phase 2, the personality Override will attempt to use Deadwood, but the Chainsaw Consultant breaks one of the Override bulbs and prevents it from doing so. However, Toons will lose 50% of their current Laff by being squished by the failed cannons.
  • The phase transition Throttle cannot kill you unless under specific circumstances (being at 1-7, 9, 11, or 13 Laff). Most of them require a Toon to be Marked on the turn before.
  • This cheat can be triggered again in Phase 2 by allowing the Chainsaw Consultant to reach 10,000 RPM, where it will instead do 50% of each Toon's max Laff. Each use of this cheat will also grant every surviving Toon a 25% damage vulnerability effect that lasts 2 rounds.
Phase transition Throttle will always drop the RPM down to 10,000. Subsequent Throttles do not cost RPM.

- RPM Meter is at 10,000.

Spark Plug
The Chainsaw Consultant zaps the highest Laff Toon in that round. They will take 20 damage for 2 rounds, totaling up to 40 damage. Spark Plug cannot activate two turns in a row.
  • If Spark Plug were to be used a second time, he can use Aggrandize or Scabbard instead.
  • If the Chainsaw Consultant has Kick Back, he will not be able to use Spark Plug.
  • Spark Plug is his least prioritized move.

Costs: 2,000 RPM

- No other cheats can be used.

Aggrandize
The Chainsaw Consultant will promote a Cog to an Executive (if they aren't already), raise their level, grant them immunity to Fires and Sues (but not Lure Resistance), and give them a debuff that makes them absorb 50% of all damage taken by the Chainsaw Consultant.
  • Any Cog below a Big Cheese will go up 2 levels, otherwise Big Cheeses will go up 4 levels, capping at Level 25.
  • The prioritized Cogs in order are non-Executive Cogs then any Sued Cogs.
  • Aggrandize can have repeated uses on a singular Cog.
  • Cogs previously promoted by Cut the Slack then promoted by Aggrandize will cap out at Level 33.

Requires: 13,000 RPM

Costs: 3,000 RPM.

- Damaging a Cog without destroying it (promotes the strongest surviving Cog).

- A Cog is Sued.

- Spark Plug was used the previous turn.

- Only one Cog is left remaining.

Chain Linked
The Chainsaw Consultant will link up all Cogs in the battle to each other, including himself. Each Cog will give all Cogs to their right a 25% damage resistance boost. Defeating all Chain Linked Cogs will cause the Chainsaw Consultant to gain 2 turns of 30% Kick Back.
  • Unlike Marked Wood, Lure is counted as a hit when activating Chain Linked.
  • In a full group, the Chainsaw Consultant will receive a 100% damage resist boost.
  • No new Cogs will spawn into the battle when there are still linked Cogs present.
  • While the Chainsaw Consultant is linked to other Cogs, he will not be able to gain any RPM.
  • If the Chainsaw Consultant has Kick Back, he will not be able to use Chain Linked.

Requires: 15,000 RPM

Costs: 2,000 RPM

- All Toons attack the Chainsaw Consultant.

- All Cogs are destroyed in one round.

Scabbard
The Chainsaw Consultant will heal all Cogs for 50% of their max health. This cheat will Overcharge any Cogs that are already at full health.
  • If there are less than 4 Cogs present when this cheat triggers, the ones that spawn on the turn after will automatically be granted the 50% heal and Overcharge.

Note that if Scabbard can be used, but prevented by killing a Cog, a different ability (Spark Plug or Aggrandize) will trigger even if normally it cannot trigger (f.e. because the Chainsaw Consultant currently has Kickback).

Requires: 17,000 RPM

Costs: 7,000 RPM

- 0 Cogs are defeated.

- Spark Plug was used the previous turn.

- 2 or more Sued Cogs are present.

ChainsawPhase3banner.gif
Cheat Effect RPM Triggers
Layoffs
The Chainsaw Consultant will fire a number of Cogs equivalent to the number of Toons currently in battle, starting with the rightmost Toon and going from right to left.
  • Only one Cog can be fired at each Toon.
  • The specific equation for determining the damage of a Cog fired compared to Offboarding is (CogLevel * 4 * (CurrentHp/MaxHp)).
    • Like with Offboarding, Revved-Up does not affect this damage value, but damage amplification status effects such as Vulnerable and Marked Wood do.

Requires: 20,000 RPM

Costs: 7,000 - 10,000 RPM

Cost scales depending on how many Cogs are fired: 7,000 with 1 Cog and +1,000 for each additional Cog fired.

- RPM Meter reaches 20,000 or higher.

Offboarding/Cut The Slack/Marked Wood
All 3 Cheats return in this phase. They function exactly the same as they did in Phase 1.

High Dive.png
Toon-Up
Very important for keeping you and your teammates alive. The Chainsaw Consultant is capable of outputting a ton of damage while at high RPM and when using abilities such as Marked Wood, Scabbard, and Layoffs. It can be too risky to rely on Unites and Prestige Throw for healing.
PrestigeStar.pngPrestigeStar.pngPrestigeStar.png
Rating: 3/3 Stars
A good Prestige to take. The extra self-heal is nice, but the more important of the two perks of this Prestige is the extra round of Cheer. High accuracy strategies are especially important for this fight.

TNT.png
Trap
Trap has a wide range of uses for this fight. It's great for nuking a single Cog to prevent Cut the Slack, serves as good chip damage to the Chainsaw Consultant, increases the accuracy of Lure, and applies Dazed to the benefit of many gags. High accuracy strategies are especially important for this fight.
PrestigeStar.pngPrestigeStar.pngPrestigeStar.png
Rating: 3/3 Stars
A great Prestige as it gets a lot of mileage considering how often Trap is used in this battle. Gives you a greater range of Cogs it can destroy to prevent Cut the Slack, often saving higher level Trap Gags to do so as well, and allows for much more chip damage to the Chainsaw Consultant over the course of the fight.

Lure
Crucial because of the sheer amount of damage from the Cogs it will prevent over the course of this battle. Also combines well with Throw as a method for reliable single target damage. High accuracy strategies are especially important for this fight.
PrestigeStar.pngPrestigeStar.pngPrestigeStar.png
Rating: 3/3 Stars
A great Prestige to take. Allows for some extra damage to the Chainsaw Consultant during Lure and Throw turns, which may be important for getting him closer to certain health thresholds without having to expend higher level Throw Gags otherwise. Also better allows for Throw to be able to kill Lured cogs whenever needed.

Wedding Cake.png
Throw
A very strong and important main damage dealer, and is a good additional boon to Drop's damage due to the Marked effect. You will want both Throw and Drop for single target damage output. Having both means having a higher stock of single target damage options, meaning a higher overall damage potential as well. The former is safer as Lure + Throw relies on only one accuracy roll for the full damage, and if the Throw is Prestige, can also provide some self-heal on top of that.
PrestigeStar.pngPrestigeStar.pngPrestigeStar.png
Rating: 3/3 Stars
As usual for Manager battles, Throw's Prestige is very useful for this fight, allowing you to deal reliable damage while having to spend less of other resources on healing, which matters especially in this battle as some abilities and strategies in this battle revolve around hitting the Chainsaw Consultant a specific number of times in a given turn.

Important for the long-lasting defense debuff which can benefit many gags, and enables Zap for its purposes. High accuracy strategies are especially important for this fight.

May only be useful for niche strategies. Disregard this prestige otherwise.

Zap
Useful as a way to reliably trigger or prevent some cheats such as Marked Wood or Cut the Slack, consistently dispatch the first couple of Chain Linked Cogs, chunk out health from major threats created by Aggrandize, Cut the Slack, and Scabbard, and safely finish off the Chainsaw Consultant.

Sound
Useful in the hands of experienced players who know very well how the Chainsaw Consultant works and when best to use it. 4 Sound can cause RPM to spike high and doesn't immediately do a lot of damage to the Chainsaw Consultant who is almost always the primary target, making it very dangerous to use for players who don't know well how to manage RPM and when it can be used to trigger, prevent, or deal with certain cheats.
PrestigeStar.pngPrestigeStar.pngPrestigeStarEmpty.png
Rating: 2/3 Stars
Useful for further boosting damage dealt on the following turn in the scenarios that Sound would be deemed an option for.

Drop
While Drop's nature of individual rolls will not yield hyper-consistent results when trying to trigger or avoid specific scenarios in this battle, it is still highly valued for its immense damage potential with proper planning and setup, especially when Prestige. You will want both Throw and Drop for single target damage output. Having both means having a higher stock of single target damage options, meaning higher overall damage potential as well. Drop also makes for the best Gag for taking advantage of Kickback.
PrestigeStar.pngPrestigeStar.pngPrestigeStar.png
Rating: 3/3 Stars
Highly important for greatly boosting Drop's damage output considering the wide variety of debuffs the Chainsaw Consultant could have on him throughout the fight.

Control of RPM and cheats almost entirely hinges on gags hitting, and some cheats (namely Marked Wood and Chain Linked) are even dependent on gags hitting a specific number of times. Keep a steady flow of accuracy buffs going throughout the fight to ensure things go as smoothly as possible.

Csc phase 1 cheats simple.png

ChainsawPhase1Banner.png

  • Focus on attacking the Chainsaw Consultant primarily using single target combos like Squirt + Drop, Trap + Drop and Lure + Throw. Things to be wary of:
    • 14,000+ RPM: Kill only 1 Cog to prevent Cut the Slack. If the RPM is 17,000+, triggering Marked Wood also works to prevent Cut the Slack. Lure/Trap or Squirt/Zap are typically used to achieve this.
      • If Cut the Slack triggers, unless you have a specific plan involving Kick Back in mind, do not let the promoted Cog linger into Phase 2. Fire another Cog (the promoted Cogs are immune) or damage one using the AoE Gag trigger to get the promoted Cog Offboarded. Be careful to not accidentally trigger another Cut the Slack or Marked Wood instead if the RPM is in range of them.
    • 17,000-19,000 RPM: Either have all Toons attack him, 1 Toon attack him, or use an IOU to force out Marked Wood. This cheat can be dangerous but it is very manipulatable (see table of Cheats above) and drains a huge amount of RPM. Squirt + 3 Zap or Throw/Squirt + 3 Drop are good options for the all-Toons-hit trigger.
      • Note: Lure does not count as an attack towards Marked Wood.
    • 20,000 RPM: Prevent him from reaching 20,000 RPM at all costs. If this happens, attempt to get the Chainsaw Consultant to 8,500 HP or lower to get Phase 2 to happen instead.
Csc phase 2 cheats simple ver2.png

ChainsawPhase2Banner.png

  • Continue focusing Chainsaw to get his RPM to 15,000-16,000 RPM to force out his Chain Linked cheat. The easiest way to activate Chain Linked is to hit him 4 times; Squirt + 3 Zap or Lure + 3 Throw are good ways to accomplish this.
    • Chain Linked: Kill cogs from left to right (usually this is done with Squirt/Zap) until all supporting Cogs are defeated. If the RPM is 13,000+, you need to completely kill every Cog you attack and not leave only 1 Cog alive or Aggrandize will trigger.
    • Kick Back: Defeating the last linked Cog will activate Kick Back on the Chainsaw Consultant. Once Kick Back is activated, use heavy single-target combos on the Chainsaw Consultant like Lure + Throw and Throw + Drop to make the most of the 30% damage vulnerability.

Csc phase 3 cheats simple ver2.png

ChainsawPhase3Banner.png

  • Continue attacking Chainsaw until he dies. Don't worry about preventing the RPM from hitting 20,000+ in this phase that much; it's normal to happen due to the doubled RPM gains.
    • 14,000-19,000 RPM: Kill only 1 Cog to prevent Cut the Slack. If the RPM is 17,000+, triggering Marked Wood also works to prevent Cut the Slack. Lure/Trap or Squirt/Zap are typically used to achieve this.
    • 20,000+ RPM: The Chainsaw Consultant will use Layoffs no matter what (unless there are no Cogs to fire). You are better off just tanking the damage to let the RPM sink. If any Toons are in danger, damage their matching Cog so Layoffs deals less damage to them and/or heal that Toon to put them out of danger. (Note: Marked Wood increases damage taken here).
      • Remember that Layoffs targeting goes from right to left, matching rightmost Cog to rightmost Toon.
      • Layoffs damage equation: (CogLevel * 4 * (CurrentHp/MaxHp)).

    • Wiki Note One issue was that phasing the Chainsaw Consultant during the Chain Link process, it would “break” the remaining fight until he was defeated.
      • The Chainsaw Consultant could not rev up at ALL, meaning he was stuck directly at 10k RPM and had no initial way of using any cheats he had available.
    • Wiki Note The Chainsaw Consultant could gain RPM after using the cheat Chain Link. This was done by killing all of the Cogs on the field and damaging him at the same time.
    • Wiki Note The transition into Phase 3 did not give the Chainsaw Consultant the correct cheats (This did not apply to Layoffs).
      • Usually, he would Rev Up or use another cheat that was way off scale.

  • Bugfix Fixed various district resets related to Chainsaw Consultant.
v1.3.0.12 BETA
  • Rebalance (Cogs) Tweaked the activation conditions for a few abilities.
    • Wiki Note Chain link had a higher priority to be activated.
      • Killing 1 Cog while the Chainsaw Consultant is at Scabbard range would trigger Chain Link instead.

    • Wiki Note Lure counted as a way to trigger the cheat Marked Wood.
v1.3.0.11 BETA
  • Bugfix Fixed some issues with a few abilities.
    • Wiki Note When a Toon used a Fire on a random Cog, the Chainsaw Consultant would use the cheat Offboard and fire at a random Toon who did not use the Fire.
    • Wiki Note When targeting the Chainsaw Consultant during Phase 2, he would randomly Aggrandize a randomized Cog.
  • Bugfix Fixed some damage calculation errors.
  • Info/Miscellaneous Further clarification for a specific ability.
v1.3.0.9 BETA
  • Buff (Cogs) The Chainsaw Consultant's firmware has been updated to the latest version!
    • Buff (Cogs) Increased health from 11500 to 12000.

    • Wiki Note The “Layoffs” cheat would cost 10,000 RPM no matter how many Cogs were left remaining in battle.
      • Killing 1 Cog cost 9,000 RPM, 2 = 8,000 RPM, 3 = 7,000 RPM, 4 = The Chainsaw Consultant RPM would remain the same, as every Cog was defeated on the field due to Layoffs having no way to trigger.
v1.3.0.6 BETA

      • Nerf (Cogs) Damage calculation formula: (CogLevel * 4 * (CurrentHp/MaxHp)) -> (CogLevel * 3 * (CurrentHp/MaxHp))
    • Bugfix Fixed an issue where soaking any random Cog on the field wouldn’t physically Offboard the Cogs who received the Soaked Status Effect.
  • Nerf (Cogs) Defeating certain promoted Cogs is now more advantageous.
    • Nerf (Cogs) Defeating Cogs over Level 20 will now grant Kick Back for 2 turns.
  • Info/Miscellaneous Clarified a certain nuance to Revving Up.
    • Wiki Note Added indication for Whipsaw.

  • Bugfix Destroying a Cog promoted by Cut the Slack while the Chainsaw Consultant is at 14,000 RPM no longer triggers Offboard.
  • Wiki Note Deadwood no longer restoresToons' level 8 Gags and laff to full.
  • Buff (Cogs) Suing a Cog can now trigger Aggrandize in phase 2.
  • Bugfix Fixed an issue with Chainsaw Consultant increasing his RPM instead of using Cut the Slack if he was damaged at 14,000 RPM.

Trivia

  • A chainsaw consultant is an outside person or company brought in to conduct lay-offs to another company, if they are unable to do the job themselves.
  • The Chainsaw Consultant's last name appears to be a pun of "Remington", which so happens to be a company developing chainsaws alongside other outdoor power tools.
    • This could also be a reference to the font "VT Portable Remington," which is the typeface used in Cog speech.
  • On the cogs.ink website, the Chainsaw Consultant's username is revvingtonchip and his password is youcantfireme
    • The password was revealed by firing a Flunky (with its fired dialogue being Caesar shifted by 13), then taking the 14 characters from Chip's full name and applying it to the Flunky's sentence. The username was revealed through prior knowledge of the Chainsaw Consultant's real name.
  • The Chainsaw Consultant is the longest working hire of the 16 new Regional Managers, having been hired 19 months ago at the time of the cogs.ink ARG.
    • However, he was given the Regional Manager position only a little over a month ago at the time of the ARG.
  • When Zapping the Chainsaw Consultant, one can see his chainsaw apparatus as his entire Skelecog head.
  • One of his possible debuffs, 'Kick Back', is named after a chainsaw operation term.
    • Since it's spelled 'kick back' and not 'kickback,' it also seems to reference the opening theme for the anime Chainsaw Man.
  • Deadwood's cheat description is perhaps the longest out of every cheat present in the game. It is also the only one where it can clip outside of the player's computer screen (assuming 1920x1080 standards).
  • This is the only Regional Manager that does not always teleport you to the Playground. If you have won the fight or you were hit with Deadwood, then you are sent back to his lobby.
  • The two light bulbs on the Chainsaw Consultant’s hat are not present on his debut blog, nor on his profile picture on cogs.ink.
  • The Chainsaw Consultant and the Treekiller were good friends before being hired at C.O.G.S. Inc. and have a brotherly relationship.
  • Attempting to access this Manager's fight without the requirements will result in the following message: "You hear cannons inside, but not the good kind. As well as... a chainsaw? It probably isn't a good idea to barge into here."
  • It is entirely possible to bypass Phase 3 while still in Phase 2. Doing so will skip Phase 3's introduction cutscene and proceed through the fight's ending cutscene as normal.
  • According to the April Toons 2023 ARG, the Chainsaw Consultant has a secretary, making him the only non-Boss Cog with one.
