Boardbots are the strongest and final of the five Cog Departments. Toon Resistance Rangers have yet to infiltrate the base of operation for the Boardbots, but this has not stopped them from flooding into the streets of Toontown. The most we know is that Boardbots report to The Chairman in Boardbot Headquarters. HQ Officers can only speculate what happens behind the fallen structures blocking Boardbot Headquarters. Boardbots wear dark-cyan suits with a herringbone pattern and a red tie. The Boardbot emblem is an upwards stock market arrow. In total, there are 14 Boardbot Cogs (15 including the unreleased Jennifer Cog).

Trivia

  • All of the Boardbot Regional Managers are street Managers, making Boardbots the only department with no Kudos-related Managers.
  • Boardbots have the fewest amount of Cogs compared to the other departments, having only a total of 14 Boardbots (or 15 if counting outside of the game, such as Jennifer).
  • Boardbots are the second department to receive a department revamp.
    • With this, they are also the first department to receive entirely new Cogs that are not Specialists.
    • According to the C.O.O., the reason for the new hires was because the Chairman believed that lower-level managers and the employees of C.O.G.S. Inc. were responsible for their unsolved problems and restructuring the other departments would have difficult logistical and fiscal issues. Therefore, the Boardbots were the most reasonable choice, alongside some rumors that some of the Cogs were involved in "insider trading".
  • Boardbots are the first department to have cogs.ink profiles for their Employee Cogs.
  • Boardbots are the first department to have their emblem design change.
    • Prior to its current appearance, it closely resembled the gears used on elevator doors.
