The Mouthpiece is a Lawbot Manager Boss who was introduced as part of the Hires & Heroes Update. She can be found roaming the streets of Mezzo Melodyland. She was first revealed during the cogs.ink ARG.
Toons fighting against the Mouthpiece will have Content Sync applied to them. They will be synced down to the following stats:

The Mouthpiece increases the number of Cogs that can appear in the fight by 1, totaling up to 5 Cogs in one sitting.
The Mouthpiece has a shield of cookies circling her. She cannot be targeted by all forms of Gags, which also grants her complete Lure Immunity. If she is alone in battle, all Gags will be disabled besides Toon-Up (if there are other Toons present).
When other Cogs join the battle, they are given one of her special cookies that will surround them. The Cogs can only be lured up to 2 rounds and gain +2 Cog levels. This level boost can go over their intended leveling system. They'll also have an additional +250 HP (this is based off their original level's health, not the +2 level increase). If this Cog is defeated, the Mouthpiece will take damage equal to that of the Cog's max health. They also come equipped with one of the following cheats:
When the Mouthpiece is defeated, the extra cheat and the health boost are removed from all Cogs. The level boost is not removed, however, and the Cog's health will instead follow the values from their new level.
After every round, the Mouthpiece binds each Toon to a Cog in battle with a red thread. Toons cannot be paired with the Mouthpiece. Toons that are linked take 10% of damage dealt to their partner (ignoring combo and knockback damage), post-mitigation, rounded up. The Cogs will take 200% of the damage that is dealt to their partner. Toons are paired starting from the right-most Toon to the left-most.
After each round if there are no Cogs in battle, or if there are not enough Cogs to link every Toon, the excluded Toons will link to each other. The Toons will echo 50% of the damage of the other tangled Toons. Toons will pair from the left-most Toon to the right-most.

Toon-Up |
Essential for keeping your team alive. Especially as dealing damage to Cogs with Red Threads linked to Toons can cause those Toons to take a lot of damage in return.
Rating: 3/3 Stars |
A great prestige here, as the increased self-healing helps Toons further recover from damage dealt through Red Thread and Red Tangle.
Rating: 3/3 Stars |
2-4 Toons |
Trap |
A solid track to use against non-Lure Immune Cogs, especially when used with Drop.
Rating: 3/3 Stars |
Required for most non-Lure Immune Cogs to die to Drop in one turn and for most to die to two Trapdoors over two turns.
Rating: 3/3 Stars |
0-4 Toons |
Lure |
A great track to have for preventing non-Lure Immune Cogs from attacking and enabling Trap and Throw to take out Cogs with bonuses such with Soak Resistance.
Rating: 3/3 Stars |
A good Prestige to have if your teammates are carrying Throw, sometimes allowing higher Throw Gags to be saved for defeating some Cogs or enabling them to completely take out a high health Cog.
Rating: 2/3 Stars |
2-4 Toons |
Throw |
A solid track to use against Cogs with Damage Reduction, Soak Resistance, and Damage Boost.
Rating: 3/3 Stars |
A great Prestige here, as the self-healing helps Toons sustain themselves through damage dealt through Red Thread and Red Tangle.
Rating: 3/3 Stars |
0, 2, 3, or 4 Toons |
Squirt |
Necessary for enabling the use of Zap against non-Soak Resistant Cogs.
Rating: 3/3 Stars |
This Prestige rarely if ever enables enough new lethal thresholds for Zap to be worth taking. Zap's Prestige makes far more consistent impact.
Rating: 0/3 Stars |
1-4 Toons |
Zap |
Fantastic for clearing multiple non-Soak Resistant Cogs at a time.
Rating: 3/3 Stars |
Great for allowing Zap to more easily destroy two or three non-Soak Resistant Cogs at a time.
Rating: 3/3 Stars |
3-4 Toons |
Sound |
Can do some solid damage to Cogs without Damage Reduction, and is pretty decent for cleanup on already damaged Cogs. The Encore has the potential to enable a high health Cog to be taken out with one combo, and gives a decent boost to Toon-Up's healing and Throw's self heal. Zap is overall more reliable for being able to be more selective with its damage, but this isn't bad to take alongside it as long as there is a bit of thought into how it's used.
Rating: 2/3 Stars |
Not a must-have by any means, but boosts healing pretty nicely, and may more easily allow non-bound cogs to be taken out in one combo.
Rating: 2/3 Stars |
0, 3, or 4 Toons |
Drop |
A good track to have for assisting Trap in taking down a non-Lure Immune Cog in 1 turn, or for dealing some chip damage to a Lure Immune Cog when using Zap instead isn't desirable.
Rating: 2/3 Stars |
Often very unnecessary, as Prestige Trapdoor will already do enough damage to let a Safe or Big Weight finish most Cogs on their own, and having the Prestiges the other way around is generally worse for versatility in this battle.
Rating: 0/3 Stars |
0-4 Toons |
As you cannot attack the Mouthpiece directly, the strategy for this fight involves defeating the side Cogs without dealing too much damage to yourself or your other teammates, due to the damage echoing effects of Red Thread. Toon-Up should be used generously.
There is no way to predict which cheat a Cog will get when it enters the battle. Therefore, your team's builds should be versatile, enabling several ways to take down Cogs with each type of cheat. Naturally, it's important to look carefully at which cheat each Cog is equipped with to figure out the best course of action.
Your team should be attentive of how much damage they're dealing to Cogs who are bound to Toons through Red Thread. Those Toons will take 10% of the post-mitigation damage dealt. As reference, if a Cog takes 100/200/300 damage, the Toon it was bound to will take 10/20/30 damage. If excessive damage is done to one Cog, the Toon it was bound to could go sad. This damage will occur even if said Cog is defeated. The same conditions apply for tangled Toons echoing half of the damage to the Toon targeted. Self-heal can partially rebound from damage from Red Thread and Red Tangle, emphasizing the importance of Prestige Throw.
If at least one Cog, but less than four are in battle, it is recommended to defeat them as quickly as possible. This will trigger Red Tangle, causing paired Toons to echo 50% of their partner, but this is generally a favorable situation over having all Cogs alive and unlured and having all or most Toons bound to each.
