Cheats
Universal
Due to being Skelecogs, all negative effects applied to the Satellite Investors will last for 1 less round.
Due to
Skeletal Structure, each of the Satellite Investors can only be
Lured for 2 rounds.
Charon
Charon absorbs 40% of damage dealt to other Cogs.
- This cheat starts off with a 25% chance to occur and will continuously increase by an additional 25% each round if the cheat isn't triggered. After the cheat activates its chance to trigger will reset back to 25%.
- This cheat will unlure Charon upon use, regardless if there was damage during that round.
- Due to this cheat causing an unlure before the Toons attack, Charon can be Lured again on the same turn to be prevented from attacking.
- This absorption includes damage dealt when a Cog is Fired, but Cogs will still be Fired as normal.
In Phase 2, Charon takes 20% reduced damage from all Gags. Any Shatter damage dealt to him is amplified by 300% of the Cog's max health instead of 50%.
Nix
At the beginning of each turn, Nix will unlure and inflict a random toon with a
Reward Cooldown, or if already applied, a
20% vulnerability debuff.
- The debuff last 3 rounds, refreshing back to this maximum whenever it is re-applied.
- It is not possible to have both of the debuffs at the same time.
- Due to this cheat causing an unlure before the Toons attack, Nix can be Lured again on the same turn to be prevented from attacking.
- If a reward is prepared to be used in the same round that Shakedown activates, the reward will be cancelled out.
Hydra
During every turn, before attacking, Hydra will unlure and give a
10% damage boost to a random Satellite Investor that isn't himself.
- This buff stack is multiplicative for each use, and can stack infinitely.
- He will only give the damage buff to himself if he is the only Satellite Investor present.
- This cheat essentially makes him only have one turn of Lure.
In Phase 2, he will be able to grant a
20% damage boost to two random Grunt Cogs (still 10% for Satellite Investors).
- He cannot buff the Plutocrat.
- If there are no applicable Cogs, he will continue to give the buff to himself.
Styx
If there isn't one in the battle, Styx will summon a random Level 15.exe of any department type.
- This Cog will have a
Lure Resistance of 2 rounds. - This Cog will be wearing the Waiter suit used in the Chief Executive Officer battle.
- If there is not enough battle space, the waiter will be queued to come in the next time a Cog is destroyed.
- This ability will not trigger during Deep Freeze.
If there is a Waiter present in battle, Styx will drain a third of the Waiter's maximum health and give it to himself.
- The waiter can be destroyed by this cheat.
In Phase 2, and only if a Waiter cannot be spawned, Styx will drain the health of all Grunt Cogs in battle.
- The Plutocrat and other Satellite Investors are cannot be targeted.
Kerberos
On the first round, and every 2 rounds after, Kerberos sacrifices 10% of his current HP to heal the lowest level Cog for up to 2.5x the sacrificed health (e.g., provides a +450 heal if Kerberos sacrifices 180 health). The Cog that he heals will have all their debuffs removed, with the exception being Frozen and Trapped.
- This cheat causes Kerberos to unlure, though he will not attack. This also applies to the targeted Cog he uses Tribute on.
- This can cause Grunt Cogs to become
Overcharged (maximum 1.5x their HP) and does not target the Plutocrat under normal circumstances. - If used at exactly 1 HP, Kerberos will be defeated.
- Kerberos will use this cheat even if he's the only Cog in battle, though it will not provide a heal.
- In Phase 2, he targets the highest level Cog. The overheal cap is now 2x the Cog's HP.
- The round conditions are unchanged, so he will activate his cheat on the first turn that he spawns in battle.
Strategy
NOTE: These strategies are for the first phase of the Plutocrat battle. Phase 2 is only briefly mentioned here due to some of its exclusive cheat changes. If you want a more in-depth section for Plutocrat Phase 2, please visit the Plutocrat strategy section.
- The main gag to use in this Phase is Zap. Feel free to use all of your high level Zap gags in this phase, there is little reason to use them in Phase 2.
- A safer and more accurate strategy than repeatedly using Squirt + 3 Zap is to Lure, Trap, and Pre-Soak, then Zap next turn. You can repeat this and use Toon-Up whenever needed. This strategy can be preferred due to many of the investors having higher defense than usual, making unlured Squirt less accurate than it normally is against them.
- Save your Level 8 Gags (other than Lightning) to maximize damage and safety in the second phase. Zap and your other Level 7 Gags, if any need to be used at all, should be enough to take down the first three Investors. If you have 3 or more Toons with Toon-Up, you may be able to spare 1 High Dive here.
- Keep in mind that effects such as Cheer, Encore, IOUs, and Forged Gags will be wiped in the transition to Phase 2.
- Some of the Investors in Phase 2 have some altered cheats to allow them to be more than a hindrance. Although the fact that there is (mostly likely) one of them spawning at a time prevents these cheats from becoming a potential threat, should Toons destroy the Investor as intended and as quickly as possible.
- Charon's 20% damage resistance and extra shatter damage encourages you to kill the Grunt Cogs around him. Make sure that they are Frozen before taking them out.
Satellite Investor Kill Priority
- The Satellite Investors are very close in threat capacity to each other, but some can still be prioritized over others if your strategy isn't to kill them all at once or nearly all at once.
- If you had to kill one at a time, the ideal order of defeat in Phase 1 is loosely as follows: Charon > Hydra > Kerberos > Nix > Styx.
- Charon has the highest overall base damage, has the highest health pool of the five Investors, and occasionally and unpredictably chooses to sponge up 40% of damage dealt to others. The absorption effect and its unpredictability makes focusing down other investors cumbersome if Charon feels like constantly using Stand Up.
- Hydra is considerably threatening due to the slowly snowballing nature of Kick Up and due to not being able to be kept Lured. It is possible to instead put him on a lower priority over other Investors, as the damage boost can stack on top of the Ghost Payroll buff. Plus, Hydra will not start with any Kick Up buffs until he is the only Cog on the field.
- Kerberos has the second highest health pool, and his Tribute cheat can cause other Investors to last longer than they otherwise would. However, he has the second lowest overall base damage of the Investors and can be kept Lured unless he uses Tribute.
- Nix can perpetually apply damage vulnerability and reward cooldown, but the damage amplification is fairly minor, it's difficult for this to be active on more than two Toons at a time, and Nix can perpetually be kept Lured if needed. Phase 1 is completely manageable without usage of many rewards, making the reward cooldown afflictions pretty irrelevant.
- Styx has the second highest overall base damage, but also has the lowest health pool of the Investors. Additionally, both him and the waiter he summons cannot do much if they are kept constantly Lured.
- The only combinations of note are Hydra with Charon and/or Kerberos. This combines damage buffs with making other investors more difficult to kill.
- Surrendering to roll for an optimal Phase 1 lineup only makes the battle very slightly easier and is widely considered not worth the effort and time.

Version History
- v1.11.7 BETA
Hydra's attacks have received astronomical buffs!
Bite: 26 -> 27
Chomp: 30 -> 31
Crunch: 28 -> 30
Synergy: 25 -> 26
Hydra's Kick Up damage boost on grunt Cogs didn't quite kick the damage up high enough, so the boost on grunt Cogs is being raised from 10% to 20%. This is still 10% when given to Satellite Investors.
Kerberos' Tribute ability was still lacking for both phases. Removing debuffs should help throw curveballs into some strategies in Phase 1 and let Overcharged grunt Cogs have a better chance of getting at least one attack through before being taken out in Phase 2.
Kerberos Tribute healing given to Satellite Investors: 2x HP lost -> 2.5x HP lost
Tribute now also removes all debuffs on the target (except Frozen and Trapped).
- v1.11.6 BETA
Rebalanced some of the investors' stats.- Charon:
Charon takes 20% reduced damage from Gags in Phase 2, however shatter damage dealt to Charon deals 300% of the cog's max health instead of 50%. Note: For now, the in-game status effect for this ability is using a placeholder icon.
- Nix:
HP: 1625 -> 1675
Play hardball: 32 -> 33
Rub Out: 28 -> 29
Canned: 30 -> 31
- Hydra:
HP: 1700 -> 1800
Chomp: 29 -> 30
In Phase 2, if there are no other investors, Hydra's Kick Up will buff two random grunt cogs. If there are no cogs besides himself or Pluto, he will still buff himself.
- Sytx:
HP: 1500 -> 1625
- Kerberos:
HP: 1800 -> 1850
Withdrawal: 30 -> 32
Bounce check: 27 -> 28
Pick Pocket: 29 -> 31
Synergy: 26 -> 27
In Phase 2, Kerberos overcharges the highest level cog at 2x the cog's HP, rather than the lowest level cog at 1.5x the HP.
- v1.9.3 BETA

Styx can now usury from all Cogs if he can't summon a waiter.
Nix's HP has increased from 1500 to 1625.
Styx's summoned waiter has increased in level from 12 to 15.

Trivia
- Satellite investing is a method of portfolio construction designed to minimize costs, tax liability, and volatility while providing an opportunity to outperform the broad stock market as a whole.
- Each of the five Satellite Investors are named after one of the five moons of Pluto.
- With this, they are also the only Cogs in the game to have their real names displayed on their nametag instead of their business name.
- The Satellite Investors do not use the texture meant for Executive Cashbot Skelecogs. They are simply regular Skelecogs that are color-coded in different shades.
- Hydra is one of the only non-Lawbot Skelecogs to wear a bowtie rather than a necktie.
- Charon's tie is thinner in shape, which only Sellbot Skelecogs are shown to use.
- All five Skelecogs are bundled into one group of the Cashbot Cog Gallery as opposed to individual sections.
- Charon has the strongest attacks and is the highest level, but has the least amount of defense.
- However, despite Styx being the lowest level, he deals the second highest damage.
- Kerberos deals the least amount of damage.
- In early stages of the fight's planning, the Satellite Investors were originally going to have much higher Defense values compared to their current versions - higher than any other Cog's defense to date. These defense values were as follows:
Charon Nix/Hydra Styx Kerberos 80 90 95 85
