Barnacle Boatyard is the second Neighborhood in the Main Taskline, and is located between Toontown Central, The Brrrgh, and Acorn Acres. Barnacle Boatyard is a cloudy harbor swamped in fog and is themed around the ocean, sailors, and boats. This Neighborhood sports lots of red, orange, and green in its color palette.
Like the other Playgrounds, Barnacle Boatyard has its own Gag Shop, Trolley, Pet Shop, Clothing Shop, Toon HQ, Fishing docks, and Kudos Board. Unique to Barnacle Boatyard is its fishing rod shop, The Tell-Tale Carp located at the back of the Playground. Here, Toons can purchase Fishing Rods and buckets for the fishing activity. It also has many NPCs, some of which are unique to the Playground:
The Barnacle Boatyard Playground is a harbor with a large lake at its center. In the lake is The Captain sailing his boat round and around, periodically docking it to allow for Toons to take a ride. The Toon HQ, Gag Shop, and Trolley are located on the docks, with the Pet Shop, Clothing Shop, and Tell-Tale Carp on the shore. Toons can go swimming underwater in the lake and find the Playground's treasures.
Scattered beneath the Playground's lake are starfish treasures which Toons can pick up to regain Laff. Toons will also passively heal every 30 seconds while in the Playground. Knock Knock doors located on the Streets will heal for the same amount as treasures.

The Barnacle Boatyard Taskline begins after completing Toontown Central and precedes Ye Olde Toontowne. To start, you'll visit Barnacle Bessie at The Lighthouse on Lighthouse Lane. You'll be sent on many different tasks before finally being required to take down the Land Acquisition Architect, completing the taskline. The Land Acquisition Architect's building can be found hidden to the left of the Toon HQ on Anchor Avenue.
Once players enter the Barnacle Boatyard Taskline, they'll also gain access to this Neighborhood's Sidetasks. These tasks can be obtained by speaking to specific shopkeepers on Barnacle Boatyard's streets, which will be highlighted with exclamation points on the street map.

Upon entering Barnacle Boatyard's Taskline, Toons will have access to its Kudos Board and Kudos Tasks. There are a wide variety of tasks to choose from scaled to the difficulty of the Neighborhood. Most notably, Toons will start getting Kudos Tasks requiring them to take down Cog Buildings.
Completing enough Kudos Board Tasks will require you to complete a Rank-Up Task and reach the next Kudos Rank. Kudos Ranks give permanent rewards and boosts while in that Neighborhood. Kudos Ranks 1-5 will be available for Toons to reach by default, with Ranks 6-10 accessible only after completing the Barnacle Boatyard Taskline.
