The Tell-Tale Carp is a shop located in Barnacle Boatyard at the back of the playground, next to the Toon HQ and Kudos Board. This shop is owned by Edgar Allan Pole. This is where players can purchase Fishing Rods and Bucket Upgrades.
The player can purchase upgrades for their fishing rod and bucket, with each subsequent upgrade costing more jellybeans and requiring a higher fishing level.
Fishing Rods
Stronger fishing rods allow you to catch fish with a larger weight, which are usually of a higher rarity and worth more jellybeans. The casting cost goes up as well, costing +1 more jellybeans than the previous fishing rod.

The Tell-Tale Carp used to be located on Anchor Avenue prior to the v1.3.0 update. It has since been replaced with the building "Gone Fishin'".
Inside, there was a model of the old Project Altis Big Fish head mounted on the wall.
