Tex is a coral armadillo who wears the Checkered Cowboy shirt and the Silver Buckle shorts.

"Howdy, what can I do ya for?"
"A what now?"
"Ya want a bandana?"
"Well, I usually have some in stock..."
"They make great pillowcases, ya know?"
"Anywho, I don't have 'em anymore. 'Least not since this mornin', anyway."
"Ya see, a whole gaggle of them Penny Pinchers came in here and nabbed 'em all."
"Went on about how those Robber Barons needed 'em and whatnot."
"If ya can hunt down those Penny Pinchers and get 'em back for me, I'll gladly give ya one when we part ways."
"Good luck out there, partner!"
