Changelogs here from 2024 are copied from the Corporate Clash website. Information has been copied to allow for links to be added to wiki pages.

v1.9.3 BETA (August 30th, 2024)

Bugfixes

  • Fixed a crash related to the Leaderboard when Toons defeat a large amount of Cogs in a month.
  • For Content Pack Creators: Fixed an issue where the Satellite Investors' head texture overrides weren't being applied in the game.

v1.9.2 BETA (July 11th, 2024)

Tweaks

  • Content Pack Creators can now change Skelecog body textures!

  • Added custom dialogue to Rainmaker's Heavy Rain thunderbolt.
  • Added a leader indicator label for TOONO.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a rare server crash in TOONO.
  • Fixed TOONO chair buttons not appearing when they're supposed to.
  • Fixed issue where some Boosters with longer text got cut off near the end on the Booster bar.
  • Fixed the Cog Suit display showing 10 parts instead of 5.
  • Fixed a bug with Autocaddie's mouth not opening.

v1.9.1 BETA (July 3rd, 2024)

ToonTasks

  • Fixed several issues with Daily and Club Tasks across all types of progression.
  • Fixed an issue with Daily and Club Tasks not having variance in objective numbers.
  • Adjusted the scaling of Club Task difficulty and Club Coin rewards to make tasks easier to complete for Clubs of all sizes.
    • Fixed balancing with the incorrect amount of Club Coins being given across the board. Club Coin numbers should now match their intended values!
    • Clubs with 10 or less members before this patch may need to re-roll their current set of Club Tasks to adjust the scaling to what it should be.
    • NOTE: Clubs that have a low amount of members may still have difficult tasks if they have a large club level. This is intended behavior.
  • If a Daily Task / Club Task looks too hard or give out too little rewards, try re-rolling it once. If it still looks incorrect, please let us know!

Stickers

  • Reduced the cooldown of SFX from 60 seconds to 30 seconds.
  • Increased the volume of SFX by 10%.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue with Boardbots not giving merits.
  • Fixed an issue with Rainmaker's unique taunt dialog not being used.

v1.9.0 BETA (Hotfix July 2nd, 2024)

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a client crash related to Toons going sad on the street.
  • Fixed a server crash related to Toons advancing Defeat Facilities objectives.
  • Fixed a crash for new Toons when they obtain new Daily Tasks.
  • Removed an extra lamp in the C.E.O.'s Office.

v1.9.0 BETA (July 2nd, 2024)

Corporate Clash Anniversary

  • Welcome to Corporate Clash's Summer and Anniversary Update! For our anniversary, we have plenty of goods in store, such as boosters, a new birthday cake hat, and more!
    • Between July 2nd to July 16th every year, enjoy game-wide double Gumballs, All-Star Boosters, and double Pizzaria XP!
    • During the event, Estate treasures are given a random rainbow hue.
      • The sun will also wear some sick shades to match the weather!
    • Added a new version of the original Clash Bash hat, along with a new nametag.
    • To get these items, log into the game during the event!

Animation

  • We have re-rigged our Toon models which gives us a lot more flexibility going forward with Toon Animations both in-game and in our social media content.
    • To demonstrate this, fishmongers have been given brand new animations. Check them out in-game!
  • Gave a few Cog animations some extra polish.

Cog Bosses

  • Added an attack indicator for targeted boss attacks, similar to the boss jumping indicator.
  • Cogs in the C.L.O./O.C.L.O. cannon round now start an exploding animation after being hit, allowing other Toons to hit them and get evidence credit for a short time before the Cog explodes.
  • Changed the Cog boss avatar panel to show the frame of animation that was playing when you clicked, to match how non-boss Cog avatars function.
  • The V.P.'s head is now a little more Three Dimensional.
  • Gave the C.F.O.'s head a makeover.
  • Changed an unflattering angle in the C.F.O.'s intro cutscene.
  • Gave the C.E.O. an updated golf club.
  • Gave the C.E.O.'s head a makeover.
  • Gave the C.E.O.'s office a makeover.

Kudos Board

  • The Kudos board now unlocks at the start of the playground, allowing Toons to complete up to Kudos Level 5.
    • Toons are restricted from progressing beyond Rank 5 until they complete the playground's story taskline.
  • Players can now grab more Kudos Board Tasks while working on a rank-up for that playground.
    • However, if they are within 3 XP of unlocking the next rank-up Task, they are unable to pick up more Kudos Task (this includes the ones they have currently picked up).

ToonTasks

  • Removed most cases of ultra-specific Daily, Kudos, and Club Tasks, including (but not limited to):
    • Defeating Level x+ specific executive Cogs (e.g. Defeat 10 Level 8+ Executive Shysters)
    • Playing specific Picnic Games (instead, the task now calls for any Picnic Game)
    • Feeding x amount of Diners in the C.E.O. Battle.
    • Infiltrating specific types of Cog Facilities (instead, the task now calls for any Cog Facility within a Department)
    • Dealing x damage to a specific Cog Boss / stun a specific Cog Boss x times (instead, the task now calls for any Cog Bosses)
      • This change only applies to Club Tasks. Daily Tasks and Kudos Tasks are unchanged.
  • Adjusted minimum, maximum, and scaling of objective requirements for Club and Daily Tasks (Kudos Task objectives are unchanged).
    • Club Task objectives now scale linearly with the number of Toons in the Club.
    • Daily Task objectives now scale linearly with the Toon's Laff (for Ubers, this is what the Toon's Laff would be had the Uber restriction not been applied).
  • Change requirements for certain objective types to appear in the Daily Task pool, especially tasks that are not completable by the Toon in their current progression.
  • "Ride the Trolley" objectives have been replaced by "Play Trolley Games", which now requires the Toon to have completed the Trolley Game for the reward.
    • This objective has been added to the Daily and Club Task pools.
  • Adjusted the ToonTask availability for defeating Cog Bosses in Kudos Tasks and Daily Tasks:
    • Defeat V.P. Tasks are now available in Kudos Boards / for Toons in Mezzo Melodyland and higher.
    • Defeat C.F.O. Tasks are now available in Kudos Boards / for Toons in The Brrrgh and higher.
    • Defeat C.L.O. Tasks are now available in Kudos Boards / for Toons in Acorn Acres and higher.
    • Defeat C.E.O. Tasks are now available in Kudos Boards / for Toons in Drowsy Dreamland.
  • Removed mentions of mailbox deliveries from existing ToonTask dialogue.
  • If you notice anything that seems outside of the norm, please let us know!

Leaderboards

  • To reduce confusion from players, Leaderboards are no longer calculated on rolling time periods.
    • Each time period now begins at midnight Toontown Time.
    • Monthly pages start on the first of the month.
    • Weekly pages start on Sundays.
  • Tweaked page headers to be more specific about the current time period being shown.

Cog Attacks

  • Several Cog attacks have been given additional lines of dialogue.
    • Fill With Lead, Double Talk, and Penny Pinch in particular have had their temporary dialogue replaced with brand new dialogue.
  • Bloodsucker has been given two brush-off taunts.
  • Rainmaker and Witch Hunter have been given new attack lines that better reflect their personalities.

Tweaks

  • Boardbots now give merits for all other departments at 40% effectiveness.
  • Added an error message when players hover over something that cannot yet be purchased for their Club in the Club Shop.
  • Added a hex code color picker to the Make-a-Toon character creator.
  • Added Outback clothing to the Gumball Machine.
  • For content pack creators:
    • You can now change the suit textures for all Cogs, not just the ones with special textures.
    • To accommodate the Cog Boss visuals upgrade above, we have also reorganized the Cog Boss textures.

  • Added SFX to many of the Cog stickers.
    • There is a short cooldown to prevent players from spamming the sounds.
  • Reduced the amount of suit parts required for a completed Cog disguise from 10 to 5.
    • The requirements for the suits are now:
      • Factories: 5
      • Mints: 2 Coin Mints, 2 Dollar Mints, 1 Bullion Mint
      • Lawfices: 2 Lawfice As, 2 Lawfice Bs, 1 Lawfice C
      • Golf Courses: 2 Silver Sprockets, 2 Golden Gears, 1 Dynamic Dynamo.

Bug Fixes

  • Splash damage now shows the proper damage values on the Gag Select screen.
  • The C.L.O.'s head now properly plays the neutral animation during the final round.
  • Adjusted the position of a covered poster in the Toontorial training room.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Fruity the Fisherman to disappear.
    • Reid Stock was to blame.
  • Minor text fixes.

Makeship

  • The Duck Shuffler Skirt should now properly be awarded after defeating Duck Shuffler.

IOUs

  • Fixed an unintended interaction between Rain and Squirt IOUs.

Toon Platoon

  • Fixed a bug that allowed a Toon to be in multiple leaderboards concurrently.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the leaderboard to reset at unintended times.

IOUs

  • Significantly decreased the animation time of using IOUs.
  • Multiple IOUs used in the same round now run their animations simultaneously.
  • Updated the placement and VFX of IOU descriptions.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed multiple Toons to use the same IOU in one round.
  • Reduced the Reward Cooldown of some IOUs:
    • Rain: 2 rounds -> 0 rounds
    • 3-Gag IOUs: 2 rounds -> 1 round
  • Squirt IOUs now affect Base and Splash damage. The Splash damage will also scale with the increase in Base damage, enhancing the viability of Prestige Squirt.
  • Increased the damage of some IOUs:
    • Toon-Up: 25/35/60 -> 25/40/60
    • Trap: 65/90/170 -> 70/100/170
    • Lure: 15/20/35 -> 15/25/35
    • Throw: 30/40/70 -> 30/45/70
    • Squirt: 25/35/60 -> 25/40/60
    • Zap: 25/35/60 -> 25/40/60
    • Sound: 15/20/35 -> 20/30/40
    • Drop: 35/45/80 -> 35/50/80

Tweaks

  • Lawbot Specialist Cogs now have the same chance to spawn as other Lawbots, increasing their availability throughout the streets and instance battles.
  • Cog Gallery now shows the precise number of Cogs defeated for counts greater than 1,000.
  • Based on community feedback, we have decided to temporarily put back the old Boardbot building music suite.
    • We will continue refining the tracks and hope to have it back in the game soon!

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a crash in High Roller that could occur during phase transitions.
  • Fixed a bug with First Completion, Duo, and 4-Toon Cog boss achievements not correctly being awarded.
  • Fixed an animation error related to Featherbedder's Insomnia attack.

Face the Family

  • Sniper Factory Foreman's cheat now duplicates the attack at 50% effectiveness rather than at 100% effectiveness.
  • Shivering Club President now applies a 20% damage vulnerability to nearby Cogs instead of Slush Fund after shattering.
  • Increased Unstable frequency in Highly Unstable from 20% to 25%.
  • Tweaked the health of some of the managers.

v1.8.0 BETA (April 1st, 2024)

April Toons

  • April Toons is back with some balance changes!
  • Elphabat and Hexadecimal have opened up their shops. Find them in any playground to handle any and all of your shkrafting and Batcoin needs!
  • The High Roller is back and is ready to roll!
  • The Family has found their way back into the Sellbot Factory.
  • Boredbot HQ has opened its doors once more!
  • Turkey Toons are back once again!
  • Materials earned from defeating instance and street managers has been rebalanced.
  • Enjoy the silliness and craziness until May 6th!

Battle Balancing

  • Juggling Cubes have increased from 84 to 90 Laff healed.
  • The accuracy of Throw Gags has been increased from 75% to 80%.
  • Reduced the Reward Cooldown of Counterfeiting level 7 and 8 gags by 1 round, in fights where level 8 gags are allowed.
  • Cease and Desists now last for 4 rounds max instead of 5.
  • Cease and Desists are now affected by Skeletal Structure and Virtualized.

Cogs

  • Cogs now have special neutral animations for when they are low on health, similar to the existing animation for animated Cog heads.

High Roller

  • Added a new Low Baller Sticker reward obtained after defeating the High Roller 12 times.
    • If you already have more than 12 defeats from last year, defeating High Roller one more time will grant you the Sticker.
  • Updated some assets and textures.
  • Made various animation and balance tweaks intended to speed up the first phase of the fight.
  • Completely reworked the second phase! The damage bonus in the third phase is dependent on the Toons' performance during the second phase.
  • In the third phase, if Toons have 15 pips or more, the pip gain is reduced to 4. If Toons have 30 pips or more, the pip gain is reduced to 2.
  • In the third phase, defeating a silhouette will reward the toons with 4 pips (increased by +2 for every set of silhouettes defeated).

Face The Family

  • Added 3 new Sticker rewards, bringing the total required Unstable Cog defeats for all rewards up to 100.
  • The Nuclear Family now counts as 2 Unstable Cog defeats each, for a total of 8.
  • Unstable Cogs now have a special neutral animation.
  • Added a new head animation for when the Chip Fan Club President performs Bayou Bellow.
  • Sped up the animation for the Mint Supervisor's Life Insurance ability.
    • This also affects the standard Mint Supervisor outside of the Face The Family mode.
  • For this year's iteration of Face the Family, Highly Unstable was designed to be the most difficult challenge possible for endgame Toons.
  • Standard OFTF was nerfed, and we doubled the Unstable defeats gained from the Nuclear Family so that Standard Stability is a viable way to earn drops.
  • We recommend at least 140 Laff for Highly Unstable, and 115 Laff for Standard Stability.
  • Balance Changes
    • Removed the Cog battle on the East Silo.
    • Added more gag barrels throughout the facility.
    • All Cogs in the standard (non-Highly Unstable) variant of Overclocked Face The Family now do 20% less damage and have 10% less health.
    • Increased the chance for Unstable Cogs to spawn in both variants of Overclocked Face The Family by 5%.
    • Increased the Nuclear Family's damage bonus from 2x to 2.25x.
    • The High Stakes Club President is now slightly more generous.
    • Increased the damage multiplier on the Factory Foreman's Worker's Compensation by 10%.
    • Increased the damage of the Burning Factory Foreman's attack from 19 to 25.
    • Increased Explosive Factory Foreman's explosion damage on Toons from 50 to 80.
    • The Sleepy Factory Foreman's health has been halved. Heal increased from 600 to 900 upon waking up.
    • Tuned the HP of the Cogs.

Boredbot's HQ

  • The Chief Operating Officer is back at Boredbot HQ and accepting visitors!
  • Visit him at the end of Twilight Terrace! He may even have a gift for you!

Manager Tweaks

  • Duck Shuffler
    • Decreased the chance of the Bar attack occurring by 5%.
    • Increased the chance of the Ducks attack occurring by 5%.
  • Mouthpiece
    • Mouthpiece no longer gets an additional Rolodex attack every round.
    • All Cog buffs are removed when Mouthpiece is defeated.
    • Cogs now take two times more damage from Red Thread.
  • Featherbedder
    • Destroying napping Cogs now gives +8 damage instead of +3.
    • Reduced Overhire's Damage Reduction per Cog from 15% to 10%.
    • Increased Overhire's Damage Up per Cog from 10% to 15%.
    • Increased the damage of Featherbedder's attacks by 6-7.
    • Added a new animation for the Insomnia ability.
  • Rainmaker
    • Decreased the damage of the Oil Rain damage over time from 10 to 8.
    • Weather cycles now last for 3 rounds rather than 2.
    • Lowered the level range of Cogs to 5-9 from 7-9.
    • Lowered the damage of Rainmaker's Power Trip and Freeze Assets attacks by 1-2.
    • Lowered Rainmaker's health to 2600.
  • Witch Hunter
    • Will of the People now starts at 40% defense instead of 50%.
    • Lowered the level range of Cogs to 7-11 from 8-11.
    • Increased Witch Hunter's health to 3750.
    • Increased the damage over time of Trial by Fire and Boilerplate by 5%.
  • Multislacker
    • Lowered the damage reduction that Multislacker receives while other Cogs are present to 70% from 90%.
    • The Factory Foremen now heal for 75 instead of 100 when using Worker's Compensation.
    • Lowered the level range of Cogs to 9-13 from 10-14.
    • Tweaked the health of Multislacker's Factory Foremen.
      • Level 19: 725 -> 650
      • Level 20: 825 -> 800
      • Level 21: 925 -> 950
  • Major Player
    • Decreased the damage reduction to 40% from 75% for Toons targeting a Dance Partner that is not theirs.
    • Lowered the damage of the Hollywoods in phase 2 by 10%.
    • Lowered the starting damage of audience members in phase 2 from 20 to 15.

Overclocked C.L.O.

  • When Case Manager is paired with Scapegoat, Insurance Plan heals 85 instead of 50.
  • Allowed Case Manager to insure cogs that are already insured, preventing rounds where he only insures himself.
  • Increased the damage of Scapegoat's attacks by 2.

SpeedChat

  • Added 3 new battle action SpeedChat phrases related to Unites and Reward Cooldown.

Bug Fixes

  • Various performance improvements and bug fixes for High Roller and Find the Family battles.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Boss Cog achievements to not count until the second completion.
  • Fixed an edge case that could cause crashes when calculating target lists for Toon attacks.
  • Fixed an oversight with the Derrickman's Refinement attack that could leave him with an invisible decimal health number.
  • Fixed a visual issue with ripples while fishing in MML.
  • Fixed an OCLO crash that could occur with the Litigator and Scapegoat pairing.
  • Fixed a CFO crash that could occur if a Toon disconnects during round 2.
  • Fixed the animation and SFX timings of Treekiller's Woodchipper attack.
  • Adjusted the SFX volume of Tesla Coil and elevator doors.
  • Minor text fixes.

v1.7.1 BETA (March 17th, 2024)

Tweaks

  • Adjusted several ToonTasks that originally required Magnates to now require Shark Watchers.
  • Adjusted animation timing with the Marked Wood attack in the Chainsaw Consultant battle.
  • Added new Cog react animations to the T.N.T. Gag.
  • Adjusted the Magnate model to fix several animation errors.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that was allowing the Cogs to take over taskline buildings with only Investigate ToonTasks associated with them.
  • Fixed an animation issue with the Chainsaw Consultant which caused his emotionless rise from his seat during a cutscene.
  • Fixed several crashes related to Rainmaker.
  • Fixed an issue in the O.C.L.O. where the Court Costs Status Effect's description wasn't taking into account the 1.4x multiplier from the Desperation Status Effect.
  • Minor text fixes.

Boardbots

  • An all-new Boardbot Cog Line-up has arrived!
    • Bagholder is here to acquire the bag!
    • Paper Hands will never fold!
    • Insider manipulates the market!
    • Circuit Breaker leaves a shocking impression!
    • Deadlock blocks the opposition!
    • Shark Watcher has his eye on you!
    • Magnate swoops into battle!
    • Head Honcho is back on top!
  • Con Artist, Connoisseur, Swindler, Middleman, Toxic Manager, and Big Fish Cogs have been fired and decommissioned.
  • Tweaked several existing ToonTask objectives and dialogue to account for the introduction of new Boardbot Cogs.

Cog Attacks

  • Introduced 3 new Boardbot exclusive Cog attacks: Blue Chip, Falling Knife, and Short Squeeze!
  • Penny Pincher has a brand new signature attack: Penny Pinch!
  • Significantly shortened many standard Cog attack animations (i.e. Downsize, Bounce Check) so that most standard Cog attack animations lasts for 6 seconds or shorter.
  • Added new sound effects to some Cog Attacks that did not have any.
  • Revamped battle props for the following attacks:
    • Tee Off
    • Watercooler
    • Shred
    • Calculate/Tabulate/Audit
    • Rubber Stamp

Cog Animations

  • Re-animated most Cog animations from Toontown Online for every Cog body type.
  • Introduced new Cog reaction animations to Sound Gags.
  • Introduced a new Cog reaction animation to large Throw Gags (Birthday Cake and Wedding Cake).

Cog Bodies

  • Added a new closed-collar Cog body variant.
    • This body variant is used for the new Insider Cog, and has also been given to Bellringer to better reflect his original concept art.
  • Rainmaker has switched up her wardrobe and now dons a drippy raincoat to better reflect their original concept art.
  • Added support for executive and unemployed variants of Cog head textures.
    • These are currently supported for Bagholder, Insider, and Head Honcho Cogs.

Music

  • A new suite of Boardbot Cog building music has arrived!
  • The Sellbot Factory Exterior ambient and battle themes have been updated!

Battles

  • A new set of options are available: Battle Target Indicators!
    • When a Toon is being targeted in battle, a circle indicator will appear beneath their feet and an exclamation mark will pop up next to their laff meter, indicating that a Cog is about to hit them.
    • If a Toon is going to dodge the attack, the indicators will still appear.
    • The circle indicator and the laff meter indicator are separately toggleable in the Gameplay section of the Options Page.

Battle Animations

  • Made a heaping pile of visual improvements to many standard Cog and Toon attack animations.
  • Made some additional visual improvements to some Manager ability animations, such as Bayou Bellow, Insurance Plan, and Scapegoat's Rage.
  • Updated some camera angles and camera timings for standard Toon attacks.
  • Added new neutral animations to the Chainsaw Consultant based on what override state he is in.
  • Added new neutral animations to the Scapegoat based on if he is enraged or not.
  • The Stenographer has received a new animation to telegraph when the Court Costs attack will happen.

C.L.O.

  • Both sound options (standard and taunt) are now available as separate buttons at the top of the screen in the C.L.O. Fight.
  • The secondary action key is now mapped to taunting.
  • The special action key has been removed.

Clubs

  • Lowered the Jellybean price of Club member capacity upgrades above 50.
  • Rebalanced random generation for some Club task objectives to generate more desirable ToonTask types.

Miscellaneous

  • Toons can now use Stickers while in a Cog Disguise!
  • All Toon buildings that are part of the main Taskline are now unable to be taken over by the Cogs.
  • The C.F.O. now throws gold coins at Toons instead of gears.
  • Updated various textures in the Schoolhouse.
  • Updated a painting in the Toon Hall.
  • Updated the "Donk" sound effect.
  • Added a new sound effect for the elevators in Bossbot HQ.
  • Lowered the volume of the Tesla Gag sound effect and the Elevator Close sound effect.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a few memory leaks with the rain particles in the Rainmaker fight.
  • Fixed a memory leak related to the Cleanse ToonTask at the end of the Drowsy Dreamland Kudos Taskline.
  • Fixed a minor memory leak in the C.F.O. battle.
  • Fixed a minor memory leak with the Items page.
  • Fixed a small performance issue related to the Map page during an invasion.
  • Fixed a visual issue with the hydrant used for the Fire Hose Gag.
  • Fixed an issue that would sometimes cause the skybox in various areas to not properly respect the camera's position.
  • Fixed an unflattering camera angle when using Trap or Lure Gags while the Multislacker is on break.
  • Fixed a camera angle that could be stuck behind a fence in the Plutocrat fight.

  • The Boardbots, in a desperate attempt to prove their worth to the Chairman and retain their jobs, are working overtime!
    • Boardbots will show up more often in every aspect of Toontown, including in streets, buildings and even Cog HQs...?
      • Boardbots have picked up the ability to initiate Department Invasions, ensuring total Boardbot coverage in all corners of Toontown.
      • Boardbots will visit other Departments' buildings more often.
      • Boardbots have infiltrated other Cog Department's Boss Battles, and will appear alongside the Department's Cogs.
    • The Safe Districts of Foghorn Falls, Hypno Heights and Tesla Tundra are not affected by the above.
