Toonsmas 2023

Toonsmas 2023 was a winter event that launched with the v1.6.0 update on December 15th, 2023 alongside a Blogpost from Santa Paws. This event ended on January 14th, 2024.

During this event, the Main Menu and all Playgrounds were decorated with winter decorations and piles of snow. Walking over the large pile will pick up snowballs!

Event Content

Toonseltown made its return and Toons can pick up daily Special Event Tasks to receive different cosmetics/profile items. Toonseltown also hosted Present Thief as usual every 20 minutes awarding more items. This year, a few new cosmetic items have been introduced. Caroling has also made its return.

Carols

During this event, Toons can go around caroling to different Toon Shops using the Carols in their Speedchat. After visiting all 8 Shops and using the correct Carols, Toons would be rewarded with the Snowman Head Cheesy Effect.

New Cosmetics

With the return of Toonseltown, a few new clothing items have been introduced. The Red and Green Elf costume has also been replaced. Players who obtained this outfit from previous years will have it automatically replaced and are also given the skirt version of each short.

Activities

Postcards

Along with the Toonsmas event, a blogpost was made giving out two postcards for users to download and send to friends. This blogpost also features a code to receive a new holiday sweater.

Music

Like in previous years, all of the Playgrounds are given Toonsmas-themed makeovers for their themes, which includes new underwater themes. There was also the re-occurrence of brand new Toonseltown and Main Menu themes from Spooky Toonsmas 2022, although Toonseltown's Playground Theme was changed yet again.

Trivia

Toonsmas 2023 was supposed to be released on December 8th, but some last-minute issues resulted in the update being delayed for the time being.
- Due to this date change, some of the Toonseltown tasks were released on different days compared to previous Toonsmas events.
An error occurred causing the NPC for the "Toonsmas Day Feast" task to not appear. In the bug fix for this issue, it undid the time-gate for the "For Years To Come..." task, making both tasks available on day 12.
