Trick-or-Treating

Trick-or-treating is an activity Toons can participate in during Halloween events. Toons will go around each Neighborhood and use the SpeedChat phrase "Trick or Treat!" (under the Halloween tab) to specific Toon Shopkeepers. Doing so will reward Toons with +100 Jellybeans and +60 Batcoins. Once Toons have trick-or-treated at all 8 locations, a pumpkin head Cheesy Effect unique to that year's event will be rewarded.

Typically, each year will have new trick-or-treating locations for Toons to visit. Toons can visit the trick-or-treat locations in any order, though the riddles are given out in the standard Neighborhood progression, with Drowsy Dreamland's riddle looping back to Toontown Central.

Halloween 2021 rewarded the 'Flared Up Hallows' by Tally pumpkin head, while 2023 & 2024 rewarded the Yarr & Harr pumpkin head.

Trivia

• 2022 did not feature any trick-or-treating locations or rewards, as the event was merged with Toonsmas.
• At the beginning of the Halloween 2023 event, completing trick-or-treating would award the Halloween 2021 pumpkin head cheesy effect, but this was quickly fixed.
• The appearance of the various Pumpkin Heads are based on a Toon's head type.
• The Scapegourd pumpkin head is the only one to be awarded through means other than trick-or-treating.
  • This means it's the only pumpkin head that can be obtained every year.
