GUI for Barrister Summons

Summons were a Boss Reward earned by defeating the Chief Justice that allowed Toons to summon a Cog, Cog Building, or Cog Invasion through the Shtickerbook.

  • Summoning a Cog would simply spawn a singular chosen Cog.
  • Summoning a Cog Building would spawn a Cog Building on top of a nearby unoccupied Toon Building, as if the associated Cog walked into the building.
  • Summoning an Invasion started an invasion of the associated Cog in the District the Toon was in.
  • Summoning an Executive Cog would simply spawn a singular chosen Cog, as an Executive.
  • Summoning an Executive Invasion started an invasion of the associated Cog in its Executive form in the District the Toon is in.

Toons were only able to hold one of each Summon type for a particular Cog.

History

Summons were initially obtainable from the Lawbot Chief Justice and his replacement during Operation: Break The Law, the Witness Stand-In. These were made unavailable after the introduction of the Chief Legal Officer. They made a temporary return as a reward for defeating Count Erclaim during Halloween 2020, now with the added ability to receive and carry Executive versions of the Cog and Invasion Summons.

Summons made their final return as permanent rewards in the v1.2.0 update. Toons were able to defeat the Overclocked C.L.O. for a base total of two Summons. The status of Summons remained up until the v1.3.0 update, where Summons were removed due to potential gameplay sabotage and balancing issues concerning Street Manager fights (e.g. Executive Advocates in the Duck Shuffler fight). All Summons were converted into 5 Gumballs for each card.
