Sellbot Factory

From Toontown Corporate Clash Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

The Sellbot Factory is a sprawling complex with rooms that have traps and Cogs to defend the infrastructure. There are a total of 48 Cogs inside the Sellbot Factory, with the Factory Foreman being a level 11 Manager with 240 Health Points located in the Central Silo at the end of the Sellbot Factory.

The Factory Foreman and his accompanying Cogs must be defeated to complete your run of the Sellbot Factory and receive your XP and Invoices. If a player is not present in battle when the Factory Foreman is defeated, they will not receive any credit earned during their run.

Completing a Sellbot Factory, regardless of entrance, awards a Sellbot Cog Disguise Suit Part. 5 parts are needed to complete the disguise.

The Sellbot Factory will always have a base 4x Gag XP multiplier and award Invoices.

Content Sync

Note: As of v1.3.1.9 Content Sync has been temporarily disabled in facilities.

Inside a Sellbot Factory, Toons will have Content Sync applied to them. They will be synced down to the following stats:

  • 75 Laff Soft Cap (107 Max)
  • Up to Level 6 Gags permitted
  • All rewards permitted

Invoices

Invoices are Sellbot Merits which are required to battle the Senior Vice President and earn a Suit Promotion. Once your Sellbot Suit is maxed, you'll no longer need to obtain Invoices.

Depending on the Sellbot Factory you enter, you will encounter easier or harder Cogs in difficulty. A Front Factory will have lower leveled Cogs, while a Side Factory will bump the levels up slightly, resulting in higher Invoice amounts. Toons looking to build Suit Parts should ideally pick Short Factories, while Toons choosing Invoices should opt into Side Factories.

Sellbot Factories
Factory Types Lowest Level Highest Level Invoice Minimum (No Executives) Invoice Average Invoice Maximum (All Executives)
Front Entrance (Short) 4 7 1196 ~1300 1992
Front Entrance (Long) 4 7 2228 ~2500 3279
Side Factory 5 8 1348 ~1500 2580
Side Factory (Long) 5 8 2604 ~3000 3840

When completing a Cog Facility, the player will earn all Merits obtained from the battles as long as they defeat the Facility Manager. This means that players can choose to split up between battles (i.e: 2 Toons fight one battle while the other 2 fight another) and they will all earn both Merits from both fights, despite only being involved in one.

Standard Paths

There are three ways to defeat a Sellbot Factory: Short, Medium, or Long.

Short Factory

A Short Factory is the simplest and easiest way to clear the Sellbot Factory for Invoices or Tasks. There are 24 Cogs in a Short Factory, awarding approximately 1300 Invoices upon completion. The route to complete a Short Factory run is the Front Entrance, Lobby, Gear Room, Warehouse, then clear the Silos. This is the most common type of Sellbot Factory to run, as the amount of Invoices it rewards is usually enough for most Sellbot Cog disguise promotions.

Medium Factory

A Medium Factory is the intermediate factory entered from the Side Entrance for Invoices. There are 28-36 Cogs in a medium factory depending on if you decide to do a regular side which is 28 Cogs or if you do a "side plus" which is 36 Cogs. A regular Medium Factory will award approximately 1500 Invoices and the route is Side Entrance, Duct Room, Lava Foyer, Silo Room, Warehouse, then clear the Silos. A "Medium Plus" will award 1900 Invoices and the route is Side Entrance, Duct Room, Pipe Room x2, Lava Foyer, Silo Room, Warehouse, then clear the Silos.

Long Factory

A Long Factory is the hardest way to clear a factory for Invoices. There will be 48 cogs in a long factory, giving you approximately 2500 Invoices with the route normally being Front Entrance, Lobby, Gear Room, Boiler Room, Pipe Room x2, Duct Room, Lava Foyer, Silo Room, Warehouse, and then clearing the Silos. Toons can also choose to split up and take on battles in pairs to speed up the route as Toons will receive credit for any battle cleared regardless of whether or not they participated in them as long as they are present in the final battle against the Foreman. If more Invoices are required, the route should be started from the Side Entrance rather than the Front Entrance.

Find the Family

Find the Family is an April Toons exclusive gamemode that takes place in the Sellbot Factory. It was released in the MAYpril Toons 2023 event. Every Cog battle within the Factory is replaced with by a set of all 4 Departments' Facility Managers. Toons are tasked to find and defeat the "real" family of Managers. The Sellbot Factory is set up as normal with the same amount of battles and rooms. However, the set of Cogs that contain the real Factory Foreman, the real Mint Supervisor, the real Head Attorney, and the real Club President are unknown. Toons must go through each battle in attempt to find the real family. Once the real family is interacted with a notification will appear stating whoever triggered the battle is facing the family and the game will end when they are defeated. The location of the family is randomized with each run.

Overclocked Face the Family

Overclocked Face the Family is an alternative gamemode of Find the Family released the same year. Like Find the Family, it is an April Toons exclusive gamemode. Now, each Department's Facility Manager can have one of 6 cheats exclusive to this gamemode, and there can now be multiple of the same Facility Manager in a fight at once. A new type of Cog called Unstable Cogs can shift into any of these types of Managers and gain one of their unique cheats with double the amount of health. The goal of OFTF is to reach the Center Silo and defeat the Nuclear Family. The Nuclear Family function like Unstable Cogs but have 8x health and deal 2x damage. To balance this, Toons fighting the Nuclear Family will have 3x the Laff points and deal 3x damage.

Trivia

  • All of the Factory's themes were teased before the v1.3.0 update in the form of the removed Find the Foreman mode. Each song was put into the Wub Machine that converts it into a dubstep remix.
  • The normal Factory battle theme shares a certain leitmotif from the Drowsy Dreamland battle theme.
  • The Side Factory battle theme also shares some leitmotifs with a previous rendition of the Skelecog Round in the V.P. battle.
