Toon Tips

From Toontown Corporate Clash Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

Toon Tips are pop-ups of advice and/or additional information that may be needed when encountering new things in Toontown. These pop-ups will appear as a blue exclamation mark and can be clicked/hovered over to read the details of it. Toons Tips are discovered when encountering certain areas or activities. Toon Tips also appear on the loading screen when loading into an area.

Loading Screen Toon Tips

Some Toon Tips are only visible when looking at the loading screen. These Toon Tips are only different depending on whether the location is a Playground, an Estate, Roadster Raceway, or a Cog Headquarters. For example, a Toon Tip shown while loading into Toontown Central can also show while loading into Drowsy Dreamland. However, neither of those locations will show a tip from loading into a Cog HQ.

  • Every time you turn in a completed ToonTask, your Laff points are automatically refilled.
  • Check around each playground for sidetasks! Each one will give a special reward!
Streets
  • On the streets, side doors tell knock-knock jokes that heal Toons when approached.
  • Sidewalks are safe from Cogs.
  • Click on a Cog to see more details.
  • Having trouble finding a manager on the street? Use the Cog Radar in the Cog Gallery to find them?
  • Cogs will be briefly stunned when hit by any Gag. This increases the chance that other Gags in the same round will hit.
  • Cogs tend to attack the Toon that has done them the most damage.
  • A maximum of four Toons can battle at once.
  • Multiple Toons can team up and use the same Gag Track in battle to get bonus Cog damage.
  • Specialist Cogs can either have a defense focus, where they dodge your Gags more frequently, or an attack focus, where they deal considerably more damage.
  • Defense specialist Cogs are much more tanky than regular Cogs, and a bit more nimble. They can take a few more jokes than their colleagues!
  • There is more than one way to get up the corporate ladder. Specialist Cogs are unique and valuable assets to C.O.G.S. Incorporated, and they may fill in for coworkers sometimes.
  • In battle, Gags are used in order from top to bottom as displayed on the Gag Menu, starting with Toon-Up and ending with Drop.
  • If you wait too long to attack a lured Cog, it will wake up. Higher level lures last longer.
  • Higher level Lures are less likely to miss.
  • Cogs cannot attack once they have been lured in battle.
  • Lured Cogs cannot dodge Gags, but will unlure if Zap is used on a dry Cog.
  • Drop gags never work against lured Cogs.
  • Drop Gags roll individual accuracies, meaning some Drops in a combo can hit while others can miss.
  • If Toons use Sound two turns in a row, they will become Winded.
  • Sound and Zap gags do not deal any Lure knockback damage against lured Cogs.
  • Sound gags will affect all Cogs but will wake up any lured Cogs hit by it.
  • Zap jumps will always prioritize going towards the left.
  • Zap Gags can only deal damage if a Squirt Gag is used to soak before it. It can also jump from one soaked Cog up to two others to disperse its jump damage!
  • Trap Gags will deal 30% more damage to executive Cogs!
  • Trap Gags are only useful if you or your friends coordinate using Lure in battle.
  • Throw Gags 'Mark' Cogs to take increased damage from all following Gags in a turn.
  • Each Gag Track has different amounts of accuracy and damage.
  • Lower level Gags have a lower accuracy against high level Cogs.
  • Using high level Gags against low level Cogs will not earn any experience points.
  • Many Manager Cogs, Cog bosses, and Cog facilities will "Content Sync" you -- this will sync your max laff and Gag levels to be closer to the Cog's or facilty's power level.
  • Executive Cogs can drop more Jellybeans than regular Cogs.
  • When you are your friends defeat a Cog building, you are rewarded with portraits inside the rescued Toon Building, as well as a Jellybean reward!
  • During a battle, Cogs have a light on them that displays their health; green is healthy, red is nearly destroyed.
  • When a Cog is defeated, each Toon in that round will get credit for the Cog when the battle is over.
  • During a battle, you can tell which Cog your teammates are attacking by looking at the dashes (-) and Xs.
  • On the street, Cogs are more likely to join a fight against multiple Toons than just one Toon.
  • Street Manager Cogs roam the streets of every playground, coordinate with a group of Toons to defeat them!
  • Defeating Cogs in strategic order can greatly increase your chances of winning battles.
  • The row of circular lights over Cog Building elevators show how many floors will be inside.
  • There are fishing ponds on every street in Toontown. Some streets have unique fish.

  • The C.O.G.S. bosses award GPS coordinates of their HQ to employees of rank 5 or higher. Toon HQ should be able to convert these into teleport access if you can get a hold of them!
  • Using a reward from a C.O.G.S. boss battle will give the Toon that used it a reward cooldown, meaning they cannot use another reward until it clears! Different rewards last for different lengths of time.

  • Counterfeits can still be used even when you have completely ran out of a particular Gag.
  • Unite phrases are incredibly useful in a pinch, but less powerful than IOUs.
Lawbot
  • Lawbots manage and enforce their contracts through their three central Lawfices, located on floors A113, B221, and C418.
