The Directors

The Directors are the three Drowsy Dreamland Managers found in the Chief Executive Officer's Office in Bossbot Headquarters. The Directors consist of The Director of Public Affairs, The Director of Land Development, and Derrick Hand. The Directors can only be accessed once the player reaches The Final Task (for now), the current final task of the Drowsy Dreamland Taskline.

The Final Task (for now) in the game involves the Toons infiltrating a meeting between The Chairman and the Chief Executive Officer. After arriving at the meeting disguised, the Toons see the Chief Executive Officer already giving directives for three immensely powered up Cogs to take the places of the previous three that the player had defeated during the Main Taskline.

Content Sync

Toons fighting against the Directors will have Content Sync applied to them. They will be synced down to the following stats:

• 100 Laff Soft Cap (108 Max)
• All Gags permitted
• All rewards "permitted"

Strategy

• Factoring in all of their cheats, the D.O.L.D. is the strongest Cog out of the three. His 40% Ink Drain can be a major roadblock in your path to victory, and it is recommended to take him down first.
  • Remember that his Ink Drain cheat will occur at the start of Round 2, before the Toons have a chance to attack. Be mindful of combos that can only kill without any form of Ink Drain.
• The only time to take out anyone else is when the D.O.P.A. does his Disruptive Advertisement/Multi-Level Marketing cheat.
  • If the D.O.L.D. is still around, you can attack both of them at once with Squirt and Zap. Just make sure to Squirt the D.O.P.A. as to not wake up the potentially lured Derrick Hand with the Zap (and to also avoid making the Zap jumps any weaker than they have to).

The Toons enter the C.E.O.'s Office as the C.E.O. enters from a door to the left C.E.O.: "...Meddlesome Toons, always ruining my banquets..." "...One of these days I'm gonna-" "Well, looks like you are on time. In that case, let's get down to business." "The three of you have been brought in as replacements for existing employees whose performances have not been to our liking." "Because of this, you have been assigned to very specific roles." "It is ALSO because of this that we had your appearances modified to correspond with your roles." "Your predecessors proved to be quite incompetent. I trust that you will be better." "Mr. Derrick Hand, your job is to scout the town for any inland oil reserves." Derrick Hand: "I have reasonable certainty in my capabilities for this job, Mr. Oilcan." C.E.O.: "Very good. Next, as the Director of Land Development, your job is to capture any oil rich areas that Mr. Hand finds." D.O.L.D.: "Boss, ya can set store by my ability to shake and swinge those Toons right from these lands." C.E.O.: "Great to hear. Finally, as the Director of Public Affairs, your job is to schmooze the Toons into submission." D.O.P.A.: "Sounds easy enough. Would you like a seltzer, sir?" C.E.O.: "...Normally I would, but this isn't exactly the best time for pleasantries." "This company has put a lot of time and money into your hiring. It is imperative that your performance is-" The Chairman flies down into the room and lands on the C.E.O.'s desk "Mr. Cyger! What are you doing here?" The Chairman: "I thought I would extend a warning to my new employees." "Your performance better be exemplary, or I will personally demote you to a level so incognoscible..." "...not down to a Flunky, or a Bagholder, or a Cold Caller, not even down to a goon." "If you screw this one up, that's exactly what you will be." "A PILE OF SCREWS." "Craig, why is your office door open again?! You know a Toon could just walk in and-" The Chairman spots the Toons and reacts shocked The Toons are undisguised The Chairman: "NOOOO!" "WHY WOULD YOU LEAVE YOUR OFFICE DOOR UNLOCKED?!" "NOW YOU'VE COMPLETELY JEOPARDIZED THE ENTIRE OPERATION!!!" C.E.O.: "I-uh- please sir! I can explain-" The Chairman: "I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT!" "I'll deal with you as soon as my new employees are done dealing with these Toons!" "Now get out of my sight!" C.E.O.: "Y-yes, sir." The C.E.O. backs out of the room The Chairman: "...I swear, a calculator has more processing ability than him sometimes." "WELL, WHAT ARE YOU STANDING AROUND FOR? GET THEM!" "I don't have time for this..." The Chairman flies away.

Ending Cutscene

The C.E.O. opens the door and re-enters the room. C.E.O.: "I hope he's gone now, I really wanted that seltzer." "Where are the Cogs?" "Oh..." "Oh no." The C.E.O. turns to leave. "Well, it's been nice seeing you Toons, but uh, I gotta go!" "The banquet, it uh, might be in jeopardy!"
